This document outlines a 3-year partnership project between 9 schools across 8 European countries. The project aims to acquaint students with the history and culture of partner countries through reading, art, and theater activities. In year 1, students will read and illustrate legends from each country to create storybooks. In year 2, students will learn about animation and comics, hold a character drawing competition, and make puppets. In year 3, students will write and perform an original fairy tale play featuring the character from year 2. The project seeks to develop students' reading, art, communication, and ICT skills while raising self-esteem.

The project participants :
• will get acquainted with the history of their country, region
or city, as well as partner countries in an approachable and
friendly way for them
• will develop reading and arts competence
• will stimulate imagination

• will acquire the ability to cooperate and competition

• will increase their ICT competence
• will raise their self-esteem due to the published book
5. I YEAR - LEGENTS, TALES AND FAIRY TALES OF EACH COUNTRY
1. Will be organized 4 reading meetings at different places e.g. library,
bookshop, etc. There will be read different fairy tales and legends
related with history of each country, region or town of partners cities.
After each meeting the story will be chosen as a theme of drawing for
the participants of reading meetings. The ready drawings will be used
to create the graphic project of each story, afterwards the text will be
developed to create a book.
2. The workshops at the publishing house in order to learn what the job
in publishing is and how a book is made.
Participants will learn about the different types of work that are
performed in publishing, in order to develop the book.
3. Each partner will develop the cover of the book and its title. Each
school will prepare a design of the cover and the title and sends them
to its partners. Then, by voting, one project will be chosen, which will
be a cover for all the countries.
4. Publishing the book. Each school will publish a book containing 4
chosen stories. All the books will be the product of the project.
6. II. THE YEAR OF ANIMATED TALES, COMICS AND THE PUPPET THEATRE
1.Cartoons and comics presented during the film shows will be
selected by the teachers. Participants will vote on two of the most
favorite ones in each country. Selected cartoons along with a brief
presentation of the history of their creation will be presented to all.
2. Acquainted with the history of the creation of the 2 chosen cartoons.
A trip to the movie studio, where animated cartoons are produced. A
short course of drawing comics.
3.A drawing competition of the best character of the fairy-tale for the
project participants and the choice of its name. Implementation of the
drawings, which will present an imaginary comic character. Choosing
the best character by voting, then the choice for its name. Exchange
through the Internet voting results.
4. Get Acquainted with the history of puppet theater. A trip to the
puppet theater for the show.
5. Making 3 puppets from the projects carried out during the competition
for the best comics character. Each school prepares 3 puppets using
drawings from the previous competition.
6.The competition for the most beautiful puppet. Choosing, by voting a
school puppet, as well as giving its name. The winning mascot will be
the product of the project
7. III YEAR OF THE THEATRE FAIRY TALE
1. Inventing the plot of a fairy tale which the main hero will be
the character selected in the previous part of the project.
Development of the theatrical version, which will be
presented at the end of the project.
2. Participation in the theater workshops
Theatrical meetings at Culture Center led by a moderator.
3. Presentation of the play, recording a movie.
At the end of the project the performance will be officially
presented and recorded which will be the product of the
project. The films will be sent to all the partners.
