 Turmeric futures climb 3.87 pc on strong
demand:
Turmeric prices surged by Rs 218 to Rs 5,850 per
quintal in futures trading today as speculators enlarged
their positions, driven by strong demand in the spot
market. At the National Commodity and Derivatives
Exchange, turmeric for delivery in September surged by
Rs 218, or 3.87 per cent, to Rs 5,850 per quintal, with
 Trading tip:
an open interest of 11,535 lots.
Buy Jeera above  Chilli futures climb 3.21 pc on strong demand:
16450 for target At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange,
chilli for delivery in October shot up by Rs 182, or 3.21
16500/16550 per cent, to Rs 5,852 per quintal, with an open interest
of 410 lots.
