5. “As a young girl my moth-
er really had a passion for
art and completely cov-
ered my childhood home
in all different types of art
pieces by a selection of
a variety of different art-
ists, so I guess naturally
I inherited her passion.
In my bedroom, when I
was around 14 years old
and had just starting to
to understand the con-
cept of personal style, my
mother placed a beau-
tiful painting of a colour
wheel. Ever since colour
has always been my first
thought when it comes
to an outfit. With colour
you can express your-
self without saying any-
thing, I love being able to
feel like im having fun in
my clothes and I believe
that’s definetly down to
colour.’

to if I want to add a textile,
textiles to me are for when
you want to be noticed and
stand out. I believe textiles
can have the power to real-
ly intrigue people and leave
and expression. Art is time-
less like fashion thats why
the blend together so well.
I appreciate art as much as
I appreciate fashion due
to the beautiful blend they
create. Everywhere I travel
I always make the time to
visit the local art gallerys or
display rooms due to all the
inspiration i’ve had from
all the different types of
art. Not just inspiration for
fashion but for work, home
decor and so much more.
Theres art and fashion for
everyones liking, you’ve
just got to find the pieces
that really mean somthing
and stand out to you and
hold on to them.“
