Here's a recipe for a delicious and nutritious keto-friendly dish: Creamy Garlic Parmesan
Chicken.
Ingredients:
● 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
● 2 tablespoons olive oil
● 4 cloves garlic, minced
● 1 cup heavy cream
● 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
● 1 teaspoon dried thyme
● Salt and pepper to taste
● Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
3. Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is
hot, add the chicken breasts and sear them for about 4-5 minutes on each side
until they are golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
4. Reduce the heat to medium, add the minced garlic to the skillet, and sauté for
about 1 minute until fragrant.
5. Pour the heavy cream into the skillet and bring it to a simmer. Cook for about 2
minutes, stirring occasionally.
6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and dried thyme. Continue to cook for
another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper to
taste.
7. Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them. Place the
skillet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is
cooked through and the sauce is bubbly.
8. Remove the skillet from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
