• 1. Read what you paraphrased. Does it have
a citation?
• 2. Does the citation lead directly to a
reference in the reference list?
• 3. Does the reference have a link to a source?
• 4. Does the source show what is paraphrased
in the text?
• If the answer to one of these questions is “no”
you have a BIG problem.
