Final Interpretive Sign
• Goal- To develop an understanding of some of
the different ways to lose weight in order for
weight loss to occur.
• Audience- This information is targeted to
overweight people who are looking for a new
healthy life style and ways to lose weight,
specifically male and females in the 20-30 age
range.
• Message- Weight loss goals are achievable
through motivation and consistency

From my first design to the next the
following changed after learning about the
different elements
• Picture words and concrete verbs allowing
a viewer to picture and feel the text
• Picture was used to try to enhance the
message as opposed to just random
placement that seemed relevant

• Proximity and alignment of text and picture
to allow for less effort and a higher reward
• Repetition with alignment, proximity, and
colors
• Use of analogous colors to bring out the
picture, background, and text together
