Canada and Terrorism
Terrorism in Canada is a subject that cannot be ignored. Terrorism has been observed to rise in Canada in the
recent years. The rise in terrorism in the region can be attributed to the immigration asylum provided by Canada
as well as to the proximity of the country to the US. Terrorists in Canada act through various actions such as
providing weapons to terrorist groups abroad, fundraising, facilitating transportation to as well as from the US
and front line lobbying for terror groups. The ease with which terrorists can come into Canada because of the

Terror groups such as Al-Qaeda can have representatives in Canada who will live in unity with the peaceful
