For decades pocket squares have been considered essential, iconic accessories
for well-dressed gentlemen to sport with their suit or tailored jacket. However
they hit a standstill and have remained limited in both pattern and design for
some time. That’s why we are here. Pocket Rocket is the answer for those who

With our range of quirky, eye-catching and exclusive designs, say goodbye to
polka dot, pinstriped and plaid pocket square patterns of the past and welcome a

Rocket’s luxury silk pocket squares are made in entirely England with delicately
hand rolled edges. Additionally, each handkerchief has been specifically designed
larger than typical squares at 42cm x 42cm, in order to give a fuller look when
worn in the suit pocket. The collection consists of a variety of fun and creative
designs including those in collaboration with the iconic Brietling artwork of
American Post-Modern Pop Artist Kevin Kelly and every man’s secret pleasure,
the Thunderbirds. Kelly’s outstanding, powerful artwork makes for a unique,
distinguished range perfect for a number of pocket square folding styles, whilst
our Thunderbird Collection permits the fashion-conscious modern gentleman to

Top Pocket Rocket CEO – Edward Woolf
Joining the Family Retail Clothing business aged 16; by 21 he was running it,
expanding it from 9 shops to over 50 super stores. After selling his business,
many years later Eddie had discovered a niche Clothing underwear item “Men’s
Funky Boxer Shorts”, it sounded crazy. The business developed from a cold start
into the biggest Men’s Underwear and Sleepwear licensing business in the US,
carrying all the top known character brands. Eddie exited the business on the
way up, the business has sales today in the region of $250 million with over 100
staff! Eddie's passion for pocket squares started at the age of 20. Eddie believes
that pocket squares should be a luxury product, and an item that is worn every
day. Eddie enjoys the colourful and vibrant pocket squares, and this is why the
Top Pocket Rocket products are very quirky and luxurious.
Eddie Woolf 2015 - 'I have worn silk pocket squares all my life, even in my
1960’s playboy days with my Lotus and huge silk pocket square. Therefore I
was amazed when Esquire magazine last year forecast Silk Pocket Squares
as the next big thing, I never stopped wearing them!'

Our Brand – The Top Pocket Rocket Square
Our Pocket Rocket squares are made in England
in a larger size than the usual (42x42cm).
They have hand rolled edges and double
weight silk for maximum quality and feel. We
aim to target the Vilbrequin/Orlebar Brown type
customer who flaunts the brand with pride and
prestige. Our squares retail at £65. The beauty
of Pocket Rocket is the quirky limited edition
prints as well as the folding method, which
shows the pocket rocket logo in your pocket. The
aim behind this design idea was in order for our
customers to show off the brand.
Pocket squares have been around for decades as
accessories for sartorial menswear and
tailoring. Originally plain, pocket squares
have expanded into bolder colours and
patterns. However, none have the creativity
and boldness of Pocket Rocket squares. We
believe that paisley, polka dot and striped
pocket squares are a thing of the past,
therefore our designs are specifically made to be fun and eye catching in order to
turn any mans suit or jacket into a vibrant, fun fashion statement. We aim for
pocket our pocket squares to replace the tie and be seen on every well-dressed
man from across the globe.
Kevin Kelly
We gained a licence to use Kevin Kelly’s Brietling artwork and came up with a
stunning collection of silk square handkerchiefs. These iconic Kevin Kelly images
can be seen all over the world in Brietling stores (see below) as well as their
flagship store in Manhattan. Brietling and Kelly have a history of collaboration,
which we saw as an opportunity to create an iconic range. The strong and
powerful imagery used by Kelly provided a no brainer use on our pocket

unique designs, the skull. This can be

to add flare to an outfit and make it more
interesting.
squares. Iconic post-pop artwork combined with a timeless menswear accessory
gave birth to these exquisite handkerchiefs.
Our Research
Men's fashion marketing trends are moving forward at speed for the first time in
many years. There’s a renewed focus on personal choice, expressing
personality and making the right decisions for your own style rather than
conforming to the image presented by a fashion brand's marketing team.
Men are awakening to new possibilities in fashion and have a heightened sense
of how they want to look. Unlike women, who are socialised, to enjoy shopping
and have very clear ideas on fashion, men are not so savvy. This means there’s a
clear gap for a brand that emphasises discovery and experimentation.
What this means for our marketing efforts is that we should focus not on singular
carefully crafted images of a model looking great with our products, but take
time and care to emphasise their uniqueness. Age groups
 25-34 year old
men are much more frequent fashion buyers than their counterparts in the
16-24 bracket. This is thought to be due to economic downturn and the amount
of young people still living with their parents. These younger age groups are less
likely to take risks with their clothes purchases and don’t have the disposal
income to invest in high quality items.
On the other hand, 25-34 year olds and up market is expected to rise by 11%
by the end of 2017. These men tend to buy fewer items, but of a higher quality. It
is thought that they prefer “classic” looks and styles, but anecdotal evidence
suggests there is plenty of scope for a brand offering something more
distinguished to grab this age group's attention.
The 25-34 year old age groups are the biggest online shoppers and favour
multi-channel retailers, proving that is key for us to have a full, well thought
out and implemented online marketing strategy. They are twice as likely as
average to buy from higher priced fashion stores with multi-channel offerings.
Unmatched growth
The men’s fashion market is
growing faster than the women’s
fashion market for the first time. It’s
grown by 22% over the past 5
years. There are now unmatched
opportunities to appeal to more
demographics and markets than
ever before.
For Pocket Rocket, this means
keeping an eye out for any and all
audience that may take interest in
our brand. While there is a good core idea of a market we should
set out to capture, we should make sure to carefully monitor the
kind of people engaging and buying from us to make sure we keep
on top of who our audience is.
For example, “hipsters”, largely 2135 year old men who aren’t
necessarily affluent but are very fashion conscious, are always on
the look out for the latest trend that will make them stand out.
This is the exact kind of group that could catch on to what Pocket
Rocket are doing and help pocket squares become a huge trend.
The possibilities mean that this is a better time than ever for a
fashion brand with a difference to be launching. The market is
primed for a new trend and the potential for audiences that
could get into this trend is more exciting than ever.
‘The Tie is Now Square’
Unique Selling Point – Made in Britain, Handmade, Silk Squares, Bespoke,
Quality, Gifts
Being a “square” is associated with being uncool, rigid and unadventurous. The
pun associated with pocket squares and being “a square” can be leveraged for a
bit of fun to make our brand self aware and engaging. The idea here is that we
want to be a progressive brand, one that wants to help men cut through the noise
of the new fashion landscape and help them become stylish. “It’s uncharted
space, let’s explore together.” this attitude can be used to encourage people to
share their pictures and thoughts on fashion with us to build some user
generated content on our social profiles.
The options for the modern gentlemen, in terms of fashion, are ever expanding.
Pocket Rocket squares can be used to add flare to a business suit or a casual
deconstructed blazer
