differentiators in order to reduce the price and increase the
effectiveness of the solution
• Proposals addressing Galileo SAR service should leverage the Forward

integration of different sensors and position sources to identify,
locate and react in critical situations
• Applications in agriculture should improve the productivity and
decrease the negative environmental impact

Description:
- Development, integration, testing and demonstration of HW/SW components, filling technology
gaps and leveraging Galileo differentiators for two areas:
Submit your proposals by: EU funding (70% co-funding):
- 12 July 2018 € 6.000.000
1. Premium Mass Market GNSS 2. Internet of Things (IoT) or other General
Mass Market applications
Upper segment of mass market applications :
- Higher performances than the ones achievable by
products such as trackers or step counters but less
stringent than the professional ones such as GIS
receivers
Examples:
- semi-professional applications (GIS on
smartphones);
- apps to assist visually or physically impaired
(eHealth);
- higher-end devices for
trekking/geocaching/paragliding
- tracking of high value goods and people
Low end part of mass market applications:
- Mainly cost-driven
- Energy consumption and physical size are key
drivers.
Examples:
- Internet of Things applications
- Low value objects and persons geo-fencing
and tracking (with low accuracy
requirements)
