Air we consume each day is 7 times more than the food we
consume.
When we inhale air, the oxygen present in the air
combines with the blood in our lungs and purifies it. The
red blood cells in the blood takes up oxygen when it
passes through lungs and takes it to each cells of the body.

4. Air Bath is also known as Morning Walk or Air
intake.
Feeding fresh air to the body is called an Air
Bath. It is an action through which both internal
and external parts of the body are cleaned. If
this activity is carried out by removing clothes
or wearing light clothes, it proves to be
beneficial for the body.
Consuming air in this form is not only a
necessity of life but also an art that is the best
exercise

5. MODES OF APPLICATION
 Morning walk
 Sitting in fresh air with minimum clothing
 Breathing exercise
o During morning walk we go through fresh air and
therefore we also call it air bath
o During morning walk the focus of our speed on breath
in fresh air
o It is the best exercise time if we go out with loose
clothing.

6. PROCEDURE
 Pre- Procedure
Empty your bowel and bladder
Wear minimum clothes or prefer loose clothes
 Procedure-
A healthy person should walk 6-7km a day and speed
should be about 1km/10mim
If person is weak should walk slowly and walk up to
1km/ or ½ km per day.

7.  Post- Procedure-
If sweating occurs wipe the body with towel or take bath
after 10min
 Precautions-
Do not talk while walking
A person who goes for morning walk should keep in
mind free from tension and worries
