Representing over 13,000 physicians around the world, the
American College of Gastroenterology conducts several meetings
and events to promote education and scientific investigation and to
improve treatment and patient outcomes. The largest of these
events is the College’s Annual Scientific Meeting and Postgraduate
Course. Offering attendees everything from the latest information on
important developments and research to industry exhibitions and a
trainee’s forum, the event is an opportunity for gastrointestinal

in the field.

3. Annual Scientific Meeting
 In addition to the Annual Scientific Meeting, the
American College of Gastroenterology
simultaneously holds its Postgraduate Course, a
two-day workshop that provides physicians with
clinical updates. Participants learn about new
diagnostic and treatment tools and improve their
ability to work patient care practices into their
decision-making processes. The combination of
both events makes the Annual Scientific Meeting
and Postgraduate Course the premier
gastrointestinal clinical event every year. The next
meeting is scheduled to take place October 14 to
19, 2016, at the Venetian Hotel and Resort in Las
Vegas.
