This process enables effective counselling by Maori, with Maori. It has 5 steps which process can easily be transported to other disciplines such as social work, research and supervision. The reason for this is that facilitation is a respectful engagement based on secure positioning of self in relation to at least one opposite culture and its reconciliation of tensions for bicultural liberation.
