2. These poems are dedicated to you because it is not often that I tell you that I love you or am inspired by
you, but I do. You are cherished by all of your love ones, especially me. Although you think that you
are taken for granted, this is to show you that you are not. You have helped to make me the person
that I am today, because I am walking in the right direction with you guiding me all the way. You have
and continue to help me grow, by giving me your knowledge, and experiences, that have made you
grow, so that they may be able to help me. You will never and can never be replaced, for you are
worth an unlimited amount of gold. I am becoming more of a clone of you day by day. That is why this
poem is dedicated to you.
you always tell me, and anyone that has loss someone, that although a loved one may not be here with
you anymore on natural earth, they are still always with you. They are watching over you like a
guardian angel. You also say that they will forever be in your heart. You say that when a loved one is
gone what they did in you or someone else life will never be forgot, and that their legacy will live on
forever more. This will always be true to me, when someone is gone, they are there in spirit, and in
you heart. They will forever be with you. They may be gone but never forgotten.
throughout the course of my life, from when I was an infant, and could barely understand a word. You told
me that whenever I needed you, you would always be there. No matter on the moon or the sky, you
would be there, when I needed you most.
Whenever I needed help, or was guided in the wrong way of life, you would be there to help guide me
back in the right way.
As life has gone on you still say this and, keep your word. Whenever I am in need of you help, you are
always, and will forever be there, no matter what, To give me your hand to hold.
This is for When times are on a bumpy road, you say that everything will be fine, because you have faith.
When you are always happy, you say because you have faith in god. You say that the word says that
as long as you have faith the size of a mustard seed in the lord, everything will be okay. The times
that others are worrying, and you should be nervous at times. You say that there is no need to get
nervous, or anxious, because you have faith, and having the smallest amount of faith can change a
whole situation. Therefore all you have to do is put faith in the lord in things will work in your favor.
3. Dear mom,
At times you feel down, and your feeling low, But you are cherished by
your family,
More than you will ever know, I know you want certain times back,
And thing back to the way it use to be, But things will soon get better
mom,
Just you wait and see, In all my life you guided me,
And showed me right from wrong, You are my inspiration,
And the music and a song, You are there when times are hard,
You are always close at hand, You are guided by happiness,
You are the best mom in all of the land, I could never repay you,
You are worth all of the gold, Whenever I need you,
Your hands are there to hold, Your advice is always wise,
And leads me in the right way, So thank you mom for making me,
The person I have become, And through your love and wonderful
guidance,
I am a clone of you, and I hope this will always be true,
From me to you.
4. I wrote this poem, dedicated to you because it is not often that I

5. Although not here in the present,
I know you are always by my side,
You may be gone up above,
But you love and legacy will live forever,
So much was taught,
So much was learned,
It shall be forever cherished,
For it you deserve,
Without your presents,
But always in spirit, is your hand to hold,
Forever more.
6. I wrote this poem for you because you always tell me, and anyone
that has loss someone, that although a loved one may not be here
with you anymore on natural earth, they are still always with you.
They are watching over you like a guardian angel. You also say
that they will forever be in your heart. You say that when a loved

7. A mother’s hand is there to hold
From a baby,
you hold her hand at night,
When you began to grow,
Through all of the journeys,
Your mother’s hand is still there,
There to hold tight and guide you,
Guide you into the right light,
Through out it all is a mother’s hand,
Always there to hold.
8. I wrote this poem dedicated to you because throughout the
course of my life, from when I was an infant, and could barely
understand a word. You told me that whenever I needed you,
you would always be there. No matter on the moon or the sky,
you would be there, when I needed you most.

As life has gone on you still say this and, keep your word.
Whenever I am in need of you help, you are always, and will
forever be there, no matter what, To give me your hand to

9. From before there was ever a present,
there was a future, of what was to be,
When life began they were there to care for you,
when you began to grow day by day, year by year,
they were there to guide you,
Through all of the ups and the downs,
they were there, to keep you from falling,
and to help you get up when you tripped,
Forever by your side is your family,
They last forever.
10. I wrote this poem, dedicated to you because as I was
growing up, and continue to grow up.
You always say that friends come and go, besides the ones
that are truly your friend, and will be there like family. Besides
them, you say that, Family last forever, they are always there,
by your side, to help protect you, and love you, and take
care of you.
You say that besides god, the closest people to you are your
family.
They are a part of you, and you are a part of them, and that
will last for all of your days.
11. Through the course of life,
we need faith,
To have faith ,
is to have trust in the god,
Even the smallest amount of faith,
Can get you through,
Help you to get through ,
to overcome anything,
Anything is possible,
Possible with faith in god.
12. I wrote this poem dedicated to you because When times are on
a bumpy road, you say that everything will be fine, because
you have faith. When you are always happy, you say
because you have faith in god. You say that the word says
that as long as you have faith the size of a mustard seed in
the lord, everything will be okay. The times that others are
worrying, and you should be nervous at times. You say that
there is no need to get nervous, or anxious, because you

faith in the lord in things will work in your favor.
13. I don't think you will
ever fully understand
how you've touched my life
and made me who I am.
I don't think you could ever know
just how truly special you are
that even on the darkest nights
you are my brightest star.
I don't think you will ever fully comprehend
how you've made my dreams come true
or how you've opened my heart
to love and the wonders it can do.
You've allowed me to experience
something very hard to find
unconditional love that exists
in my body, soul, and mind.
I don't think you could ever feel
all the love I have to give
and I'm sure you'll never realize
you've been my will to live.
You are an amazing person
and without you I don't know where I'd be.
Having you in my life
completes and fulfills every part of me
14. The Poem Will you, is based on the positive impact
that someone has made on a persons life. It is to
tell them that they will always appreciate them,
and could never repay them enough, for what they
have done for them. This poem for the most part is
a Free verse poem, it shows expression, and shows
some metaphors, and also it has repetition to
continue to say that they don’t think they will ever
understand the impact they made in their life. It has
a theme that easily gets across.
15. Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size
But when I start to tell them,
They think I'm telling lies., I say,
It's in the reach of my arms
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips. I'm a woman
Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That's me.
I walk into a room Just as cool as you please, And to a man,
The fellows stand or Fall down on their knees.
Then they swarm around me, A hive of honey bees. I say,
It's the fire in my eyes, And the flash of my teeth,
The swing in my waist, And the joy in my feet. I'm a woman
Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That's me.
Men themselves have wondered
What they see in me. They try so much
But they can't touch My inner mystery.
When I try to show them They say they still can't see.
I say, It's in the arch of my back, The sun of my smile,
The ride of my breasts, The grace of my style. I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me. Now you understand Just why my head's not bowed.
I don't shout or jump about Or have to talk real loud.
When you see me passing, It ought to make you proud.
I say, It's in the click of my heels,
The bend of my hair,
the palm of my hand,
The need of my care,
'Cause I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.
16. The Poem Phenomenal Woman is based on a
strong woman, who is confident, and strong
minded . The woman is showed as a clone to the
author, Maya Angelou, for she is a strong and
confident woman. The poem is written is free
verse, there is not set rhyme scheme. In the
poem, Imagery is used to give an idea of what
the person looks like. She also uses metaphors to
be better understood. She uses repetition
throughout the poem, to emphasize some of the
work. The length of the lines in the poem varies,
to make certain things stand out more. The poem
has a sense of lyric, and has type of musical
structure.
17. To-day's your natal day;
Sweet flowers I bring:
Mother, accept, I pray
My offering.
And may you happy live,
And long us bless;
Receiving as you give
Great happiness.
18. This poem is based on, It is the mother
day, for her to be appreciated, for her to
relax, and be happy. To do nothing but
receive, for she always give, but not
today, for it is her day, to receive rather
than give, to have happiness. The poem
uses a rhyme scheme of abab. It
somewhat gets it point across.
19. Sonnets are full of love, and this my tome Has many sonnets:
so here now shall be One sonnet more, a love sonnet, from
me To her whose heart is my heart’s quiet home, To my first
Love, my Mother, on whose knee I learnt love-lore that is not
troublesome; Whose service is my special dignity, And she
my loadstar while I go and come And so because you love
me, and because I love you, Mother, I have woven a wreath
Of rhymes wherewith to crown your honored name: In you not
fourscore years can dim the flame Of love, whose blessed
glow transcends the laws Of time and change and mortal life
and death.
20. This poem was written to show her love to
her mother. That they were first love, and
that shall never change. That she will
always, no matter what have one of the
most important places in her heart
forever. The poem uses the rhyme
scheme of abba mainly. There is
metaphors, and personification, along
with other styles.
21. Well, son, I'll tell you:
Life for me ain't been no crystal stair.
It's had tacks in it,
And splinters,
And boards torn up,
And places with no carpet on the floor—
Bare.
But all the time
I'se been a-climbin' on,
And reachin' landin's,
And turnin' corners,
And sometimes goin' in the dark
Where there ain't been no light.
So, boy, don't you turn back.
Don't you set down on the steps.
'Cause you finds it's kinder hard.
Don't you fall now—
For I'se still goin', honey,
I'se still climbin',
And life for me ain't been no crystal stair.
22. This poem is based on describing the life of
the mother. The poem has metaphors used
in it to compare the mothers life to a crystal
staircase, to not having an easy life. It uses
imagery of a crystal staircase as the
opposite of her life as a staircase. He uses
many symbolic images, to describe the
obstacles and hurt experienced in a
mothers life by the tacks in the staircase.
However they never gave up.
23. Dear Mom,
I have made you a dedication of works of poetry. This
dedication is to show my appreciation towards
you, and everything that you have ever done for
me. This dedication is filled with poetry that
expresses my love for you, and all of the effects
you have had on my life. It shows all of the journeys
we have been through, and what I have learned
from you while going through them. They are
written to show that you are not taken for granted,
and that you are truly cherished. This why I have
made this Dedication for you.
Sincerely, Justice
