exploration industry. Our group is responsible for items of above for all NOV land drilling rigs and all products
that make up land rigs across the globe.

Configured multiple NOV land drilling rigs for multiple clients and regions.
• Enhanced NOV land rig prospect tracking and strategy analysis
Development Manager – Crane Drives and Controls – 2013 – September 2014
Integration of two main divisions, engineering, manufacturing, project management, and procurement to
develop two large marine cranes.
Professional Accomplishments:
• Successfully organized and managed 5 engineering departments, multiple procurement groups, and
multiple manufacturing groups to successfully design and manufacture 2 large 5000 ton super marine
cranes.
OMRON OILFIELD & MARINE, INC., Houston, Texas 2011 – 2013
OMRON Oilfield & Marine is a subsidiary of OMRON Corporation. OMRON Corporation, an Y174B company is one of the world’s leaders in
automation manufacturing.
Director of Business and Product Development
Train, develop and lead 5 department managers with a total accountability of 50+ people. Drove P&L
management which was accountable for approximately 10-20% of the company’s revenue/profits and all capital
equipment projects through project management. Successfully led international and domestic business
development & product development, managing project management, and customer training. Other positions
held with the company – manager of the applications & quotations department, field service domestic and
international, General Management of the Project Management department and the Manager of Project
Management, General Management of the Training department and the Manager of Training, General
Management of the Middle East Field Service department and the Manager of Middle East Manager.
Professional Accomplishments:
• Gained market share against Omron’s competitors and modemized the existing control ergonomics that
drillers from Omron customers helped to design through the Product Management and Development of
the Omron’s new PRECISETM
cyber chair and third party integration.
• Responsible for the Product Management and Development of the successful operation of driving a
Permanent Magnet Motor with the Omron drive system. This was driven by the customer’s request to
move towards the newer motor designs.
• Aggressively managed on-time delivery of proposals to customers through the reorganization and
enhancements of the quotation system.
• Successful reorganization of Domestic and International Field Service, Training, and Project
Management groups both for continue development, proper P/L measurements and growth of these
departments. By making these changes better P/L measurements, department manager ownership and
responsibility were put in place for company control.
• Business models and strategies were created and presented to the executive group for International
expansion and Industry diversification.
• Third Party integrations of drill floor controls for better customer ergonomics and consolidation of
space in the driller’s cabins.

American Electric Technologies, Inc. (AETI) is a publicly traded company with approximately $100M in sales and international ventures in China,
Singapore, Indonesia, and Brazil. AETI is a leading global provider of power delivery solutions to the traditional and renewable energy industries domestic

Vice President, China and Drives & Automation Control Systems 2004-2007
China Joint Venture – Developed and implemented the Venture, Corporate Management, P/L, and further
China business development
General Manager – Drive & Automation Control Systems, Management of engineering, manufacturing, service
which included P/L of the department and profitability of all drive system projects. Houston Industrial Testing
group which included P/L of the department and profitability
Professional Accomplishments:
• China JV – Implemented the JV, Delivered first year Revenue of $55M and 1 year ROI. 2nd
year the
JV brought in approximately $1M to the corporate bottom line profits.
• Drive systems – Successfully managed & developed M&I’s first AC drive drilling systems with two
different drive manufactures (Yaskawa & Vacon)
General Manager, Switchgear, Drives & Automation Control Systems 2000-2004
Responsible for Houston drives systems engineering department, Field Service group, Drive and Automation
Product Development, R&D and Information Systems for the company.
Professional Accomplishments:
• Maintained profit and company growth with the Drive & Automation systems
• Successfully integrated an acquisition of Hill Hayes Corporation into M&I. This provided new designs
and vertically integrate the Ross Hill type AC & DC control modules in to our manufacturing processes
General Manager - Drives & Control Systems 1996-2000
Managed a variety of functions including Drive Systems and Automation Controls which included Sales
application, Quotations, Project management, Engineering, R&D, P&L and Field Service and commissioning
services.
Professional Accomplishments:
• Drive systems – Managed & Developed M&I’s first digital SCR drilling systems (Siemens SRA series
Digital Controller)
• Sales of drive system went from 0 to over $20 million in two years which doubled the company’s
revenue
• Successfully developed Automation systems for the drive systems and switchgear with PLC, HMI,
DCS, & SCADA
• Successfully managed multiple successful projects including:
o $2MM Cheng Dao XI/EDC China/Samedan Oil/Noble Project which included Large Control
Power House, MV & LV Switchgear & Generator Control, MV softstarters, MCCs, and an
array of OFE, and sub vendors.
o Six different custom automated designed Drilling Electrical projects for TransOcean Sedco
Forex (which included Switchgear, Generator Controls, Drives, MCC, custom automation,
etc.) worth over $7MM.
o Five different custom automated designed Drilling Electrical projects for Ensco (which
included Switchgear, Generator Controls, Drives, MCC, custom automation, etc.) worth over
$5MM.
o Six different custom automated designed Drilling Electrical projects for Smedvig/Keppel
(which included Switchgear, Generator Controls, Drives, MCC, custom automation, etc.)
worth over $7MM.
o Five other different custom automated designed Drilling Electrical projects for three other
Drilling Contractors (which included Switchgear, Generator Controls, Drives, MCC, custom
automation, etc.) worth over $5MM.
o Project Managed & Engineered M&I first custom automated designed Drilling Electrical
package to China National Offshore Oil Corporation.
ROSS HILL CONTROLS, Houston, Texas 1989-1996
Ross Hill Control was the leader in Drilling drive that had approximately 97% market share during the 1970-1980s oil boom and developed the first AC
drives in the industry. Ross Hill Revenue was over $200M at its peak. The drive design is still in use today worldwide.

Involved with AC Variable Frequency Drives, Drilling SCR drives, and Marine SCR Systems. Responsibility
