WEEK/TONIC 45
TOPIC: DESTINED TO DIE ONCE
TEXT: HEBREWS 9:24-28, 9:27
OBJECTIVE: To emphasize that Christians will only die once.
INTRODUCTION
Destiny: That which must or had to happen. Death is the
destiny of every man if Christ tarry. Ecclesiastes 7:2, people
die physically, but Christ dies so that we would not have to
die spiritually. It is only those who accept Jesus as their
personal Lord and savior that will die once while others will
die more than once.
POINTS FOR CONVERSATION
1. Explain the second death. Revelation 2:11, 20:5
2. Discuss the death of the righteous. Numbers 23:10
3. Discuss the phrase “Died before his time: Can a
Christian die before his time? How do we handle this?
CONCLUSION
Every humankind has opportunity to die once, but one may
decide not to die once. You can only die once when you are
born again. If you accept Him right now, He will dwell in
you and you will not experience the second death.
MEMORY VERSE
And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the
