Write predictions for next week's weather in your city.
Weather predictions
Aim: We will learn weather adjectives, verbs and will/won't; There will/There won't;
cloudy
Windy
snowy
Rainy
sunny
foggy
Grammar: Future: Will /modal verb/
USE:   Will   is used in predictions of future events- to say what we think, guess or calculate will happen. It has no -s  with  he, she, it.
Positive and question form I think, tomorrow will be a nice day. I will be rich one day. Who do you think will win?
Negative and question form: I don't think it will be warm tomorrow. He will not /won't/ come. He's quite busy. Will people use paper money in the future?
USE: Expressions  THERE WILL BE  and  IT WILL BE  are used to talk about future.
Use   there will be  to say that something will exist or will not exist in the future. It is often used to talk about weather, future predictions. It is usually followed by nouns.
USE:   It will be   to talk about physical state or condition. It is usually followed by an adjective.
There will be + noun There will be some rain tonight. There will be a lot of people at the  concert.
It will be + adjective It will be rainy tomorrow. It will be a hot summer.
Describe tomorrow's weather  city weather Temperature /c/ London 5  Paris 3   Berlin 7   Moscow -2 Seoul 15 Tokyo 20 Beijing 16
It will be rainy in London. It will be cloudy in Paris. It will be cloudy in Berlin. It will be sunny in Moscow. It will be sunny in Seoul. It will be snowy in Tokyo. It will be snowy in Beijing.
Take turns to give temperatures and say which city it is. It will be 5 degrees in the city. Oh, that's London.
Look at the map of Mongolia. What do you think the weather will be like tomorrow?
Compare your predictions. Do you agree/disagree? A: We think it will be rainy tomorrow in Huvsgul and Bulgan B: No, we think it will be sunny in those aimags.
Homework Write predictions for next week's weather in your city, town, aimag or sum.
