LANDLINE <ul><li>A landline is a physical connection between two telecommunication devices. </li></ul><ul><li>The telephone that transmits and receives sounds, most commonly the human voice. </li></ul><ul><li>These type of phones are connected by the fibre optic cables. </li></ul><ul><li>This type of phones are greater security for phone calls, which is especially important for those times when you are talking about sensitive information like medical records or bank information </li></ul>
  5. 6. <ul><li>These landline phones are doesn’t work properly in some cases this leads to have cross talks,disable connections(wire) </li></ul><ul><li>Once you leave your home, you cannot use your landline phones. </li></ul><ul><li>Due to lack of mobility, the power packed “mobile phones”are created to lift over these difficulties. </li></ul><ul><li>Let us discuss about mobile phones. </li></ul>

MOBILE PHONES <ul><li>A mobile phone, cellular &quot;cell&quot; phone or hand phone is an electronic device used to make mobile telephone calls across a wide geographic area. </li></ul><ul><li>It keeps you in constant contact with people you consider important. It can help you seek help immediately during emergency cases. </li></ul><ul><li>Its a sense of being financially uplifted. we can carry it anywhere . </li></ul>
  7. 8. <ul><li>This mobile phone has applications like banking, blogging , commerce , gaming  ,  instant messaging , learning , local search, location tracking, marketing  , MMS , music,news , payment , publishing , push e-mail , SMS  , telephony  , text messaging  , ticketing  , web. </li></ul><ul><li>It establishes its generations also they are 0G , 1G , 2G , 3G,4G,5G. </li></ul><ul><li>It is expensive. People spend less time bonding with there family and friends. They just contact through phone and became too lazy meeting outside . </li></ul>
  8. 9. <ul><li>Disturb us on our works and studies .People spend lots and lots of money buying the latest model .it affects our body because of radiation it produces. </li></ul><ul><li>It is easily broken. Mobile phone makes it easier to invade privacy. Some times this mobile phones are also not work out in some situations. </li></ul><ul><li>so here people need something better to maintain their network .this gives rise to birth of “VoIP”. </li></ul><ul><li>Let us discuss about VoIP. </li></ul>

VoIP <ul><li>Voice over Internet Protocol (Voice over IP, VoIP) is a family of technologies, methodologies, communication protocols, and transmission techniques for the delivery of voice communications and multimedia sessions over Internet Protocol (IP) networks, such as the Internet. </li></ul><ul><li>There are three types of VoIP tools that are commonly used; IP Phones, Software VoIP and Mobile and Integrated VoIP. </li></ul>

If you have a fast Internet connection .you can make PC-to-PC phone calls anywhere in the world for free. </li></ul><ul><li>Another advantage of VoIP is portability. We can make and receive phone calls wherever there is a broadband connection simply by signing in to your VoIP account. </li></ul><ul><li>There are many other features that make VoIP attractive. We can also send data such as pictures and documents at the same time you are talking on the phone. </li></ul>

Data sent across the Internet usually arrives at its destination in a scrambled order. </li></ul><ul><li>Due to this reasons people change over to fully net based applications. its leads to find application software called “Skype”. </li></ul><ul><li>Let us discuss about Skype . </li></ul>

SKYPE <ul><li>Skype is a software application that allows users to make voice and video calls and chats over the Internet. </li></ul><ul><li>Skype has also become popular for its additional features which include instant messaging, file transfer, and videoconferencing. </li></ul><ul><li>Skype has 663 million registered users as of 2010. </li></ul>
  13. 15. <ul><li>it is a downloadable, free software. </li></ul><ul><li>Calls are free from Skype to Skype, and less expensive from Skype to phone. This not only provides the user convenience but also saves money. </li></ul><ul><li>The video calls and file transfers are available. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Skype requires your computer to be turned on and the software up and running in order to make calls. </li></ul></ul>
  14. 16. <ul><ul><li>Limited options exist for individuals who would like to use a typical land-line telephone with the Skype software other than a corded USB phone. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Skype subscribers who are having difficulty using the service have limited options for getting in touch with Skype customer service. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Call quality from Skype may suffer if you have a slower-than-average Internet connection. </li></ul></ul>
  15. 18. CONCLUSION <ul><li>T he above points we are clearly discussed that, how a socialization networks are changed and updated from the “landline to mobile phones to VoIP to Skype”. </li></ul><ul><li>And it will not stops its up gradation among the socialization networks. </li></ul>
