On the basis of our project experience and discussions with clients, we have concluded that digital champions offer a wide range of functionalities relevant for customers and a compelling User Experience.
“A wide range of functionalities” means that customers should have access to basic, advanced and value adding services across internet and mobile channel.
“Relevant for customers” is crucial as banking digitals channel do not exist in a vacuum. Functionalities not only need to be meaningful and demanded by users, but also be available in channel which they prefer. It is especially important as EMEA markets are widely dispersed in terms of internet vs. mobile channels preferences and we will discuss it later today.
“A compelling User Experience” highlight the importance of Experience Design in digital channels. A myriad of functionalities cannot stop the user from fulfilling the most basic tasks in easy and efficient way. And even the most innovative and demanded functionalities will be meaningless if customers do not know how and why they should use them.
