This document provides information about a mandatory pre-deployment briefing for soldiers deploying from 1-501 INF (ABN) on October 11, 2011 from 1730-2100. The briefing will cover deployment requirements, training timeline, and dates. Family members are encouraged to attend for valuable information, though children are not permitted due to content. Childcare will be provided free of charge by CYSS for registered children. Army Deployment Cards providing information on discounted Force Support Services will be distributed after October 20, 2011 to families of soldiers leaving on the advance party, and can also be picked up at the FRSA office with a copy of deployment orders.
