@CDU, can you animate the circular arrow in the centre to show the circular nature of the model.
Per Tracy This is an image and can’t be animated. If they want to take out the arrow from the original editable pdf and add in there own animated one that’s fine
To understand the potential impact IoT can have on society, lets briefly reflect on digital evolutions of the past.
The rise of eCommerce ; rise of mobile app ; rise of IoT….
All of a sudden, stores were not just geographically bound or time bound – they had online presence and could market to a global audience. Business could be located anywhere serving a global audience.
This transformed society, where your enterprise was not “online”. For better or worse, society had changed.
Smart phone adoption rates have seen hugh growth, where there are more mobile phones in ireland than people. Convience and connectivity has transformed how society work, consume entertainment and socialise. Businesses are now at the touch of a button.
Also business have a direct line to their customers. A two way communication.
IoT is about connecting not just with people, but with the things that society uses. Be it for social or economic benefit – connecting things will have a transformative impact on society – in line with ecommerce, and smart phone.
Opportunities to innovate, build businesses and live smarter are there.
