- This RUC exemption for heavy vehicles could see a big uptake in electrification of urban freight vehicles, which will be a big benefit for air quality. A majority of freight into Port of Auckland is just delivered within Auckland.
- Used Nissan Leafs from Japan are the most popular EV in NZ. These are already at purchase price parity with equivalent ICE vehicles, and prices start from $10,000-$40,000.
