• Mass-Issued badges to students for prior learning to introduce the badging
concept
• Prompted students to submit evidence of skills to earn skill specific badges
OUTCOME
• Students have a learner record showing skills, certifications,
qualifications so they can have a better understanding of their own
employability and for employers to assess their candidacy
North Texas
CHALLENGE
• Students needed a way to showcase skills & job readiness not captured

Mississippi

• Mapped programs to pathways punctuated with digital credentials
• Marketed the pathways to local communities
• Informed current students of pathways and opportunities provided
OUTCOME
• Learners gained the clarity into the different educational tracks available
at Jones College and the career opportunities each would provide
• Jones College gained greater insight into how many students were
enrolling in various programs and the completion rate for each

CHALLENGE
• Employees needed a system to develop, authenticate & showcase skills
and achievements for career progression.
• Walmart needed a way to catalog, search, and filter for employees //
candidates with specific skills for job placement
PROCESS
• Created a trusted skill network in which learners // employees could gain
practical job skills & become certified for attained skill areas
• Walmart accesses the same skill network to help fill hiring gaps
