Irish Language
 The majority of Ireland
  speak Hiberno English.
  Which is very close to
  standard English.
 They do have a native
  language which is spoken
  by the minority due to
  Britain ruling Ireland.
 This is called Irish Gaelic.

 Hiberno English is clearly
  the language of the
  majority and if not the first
  language it is the second
  language to the native
  speakers.
 Has retained some
  vocabulary, grammar and
  pronunciation from Irish
  Gaelic.

-’soft day’ meaning ‘overcast day’

 There are many dialects of
  English used in Scotland. It
  may be referred as ‘Scottish
  Standard English’ (SSE).
 Rhotic accent
 Very distinct pronunciation of
  vowels
