2. We use the present tense when we
are talking about something that’s
happening now or that happens in
general.
E.G. Every day I go to the shop.
At weekends I like going to town.
I am going to the cinema.

3. STEP 1:
Take the infinitive.
This is the verb in its original form
before it has been conjugated.
E.G. to think – penser
to sell - vendre
to choose - choisir

4. The infinitive normally starts with
‘to…’ in English.
In French it will always end in ER, IR
or RE.
