1. Question 3
3) What kind of media institution might
distribute your media product and
why?
2. Production Company
A production company provides work in the
areas of the performing arts, new media art, film,
television, radio, and video.
In film making, they produce the shots for the film
before they can be edited together to get the final
peice
3. Who might be the distributor for your film & and
why?
I think that Warner Bro’s ltd may distribute our film
as they have distributed films similar to ours like I
Am Legend so many others. It would be good as
they operate world wide and get a larger
audience.
However, If the Film is produced in England, it’ll be
distributed by working title and Universal, which is
their conglomerate. This would also be good as
they have a wide audience and would be able to
reach a lot of people around the Globe as they
can reach audiences in America and Britain due
to them being International companies, which
4. Why they would distribute our
film.
Although, it’s very difficult to get a film unless there is so
much hype surrounding the film in the modern age
made, I’d think they’d want to distribute our film because
films like this work and are very successful and have gone
onto the audience wanting a sequel. I am using the
example of 28 days later and then 28 weeks later was
made due to the popularity.
They’d make alot of money distributing our film giving that I
Am Legend raked in $604 million. Also, giving that the
budget for the film is limited, they’d make more money as
other film have a much larger budget.
The unique selling point of the film would be that it’s just a
normal guy who lives in a typical neighbourhood. I feel that
the audience would watch this as they can relate to the
things that would go on in the film and perhaps relate it to
their own lives and empathise for the charcacter.

5. What the film is similar 'institutionally'
I think that the film is institutionally similar to films
like:
I Am Legend
28 days/weeks Later
The Crazies
Although these films are not made in England
and do not use the same distribution lines, I feel
that they fall under the same genre to the film we
made and have a similar plot
