• Player who was fouled gets the ball on the MA, at a spot
nearest to and in line with the foul.
• It doesn’t matter if the foul was committed by the defense or
attack
• The player who fouled will move 4 meter next to the player
with the ball, relative to their field position at the time of the
foul.
• For example: if they were standing left next to their
opponent, you set them up left to the player who is awarded
the ball.
• All other players move 4 meter away from the ball
• Whistle start

Major Foul by Defense in the MA
• Attacking player who was fouled gets the ball on the
nearest hash mark in line with the foul.
• This cannot be the Third Hash. The Third Hash is only
used to place other players 4 meters away from the
ball.
• Defensive player who fouled is moved 4 meters
behind the player with the ball.
• All other players clear the MA and move 4 meters
away from the ball.
• Whistle start
