Dadang Solihin is the Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta for Culture and Tourism. He has a Doctorate in Government Science and experience working for the national development planning agency and as a university president. This presentation summarizes DKI Jakarta's efforts to address the COVID-19 pandemic through an integrated strategy involving planning, testing, contact tracing, treatment, monitoring and evaluation in collaboration with various stakeholders. It highlights programs to increase hospital capacity, expand laboratory testing, monitor self-isolation, and provide facilities for health workers and COVID-19 patients. Lessons learned from social restrictions and pandemic modeling are also discussed.
2. Dadang Solihin is the Deputy Governor of DKI for Culture and Tourism. He hold a
Doctor of Government Science from Unpad and an MA in Economics from the
University of Colorado at Denver, USA.
Starting his career from Bappenas since early 1988, he has been a Director for more
than 7 years. And the President of the University of Darma Persada Jakarta for
2015-2018.
This Bachelor of Development Economics from FE Unpar is the best participant of
Diklatpim II 2010 LAN RI and the best participant in the PPRA 2013 Lemhannas RI.
He was awarded the Prize of Wibawa Seroja Nugraha. Since 2016 he has held the
position of one of the Chairpersons of the Indonesian Student Regiment Alumni
Association (IARMI). And in early 2019 he was elected as Chairman of the DKI
Regional Research Council for the period 2018-2022.
In August 2019 he graduated as the Best Participant in the Senior Planner Training
Class of XI from LPEM-FEB University of Indonesia. And in 2020 he was entrusted
to hold the position of Secretary General of the Association of Lemhannas Alumni
(IKAL) DKI Jakarta Commissariat.
4. Introduction

one day the economy can be repaired, but if the people are not safe, how can
we improve the economy?"
• In order to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19, the Provincial
Government of Jakarta implements an integrated "end to end process"
strategy which includes the processes of Planning, Testing, Tracing &
Tracking, Treating, and Monitoring & Evaluation.
• This activity is carried out in the form of collaboration with various parties
including the Central Government, cross-sector in Jakarta Province (OPD),
Professional Organizations, Educational Institutions/Academics, Community/
Religious Leaders and the private sector.
