Project Details:
Enhancements to Ethernet local area networks for use in data center
environments for selected traffic, to eliminate loss due to queue overflow (lossless
Ethernet) and to be able to allocate bandwidth on links. This achieved by implementing
protocols IEEE802.1 AB( LLDP) , IEEE802.1 Qaz(DCBx) , IEEE 802.1 Qbb(PFC),
IEEE802.1 Qaz(ETS), IEEE802.1 Qau(QCN) for multicore processor.

2. Role:
 Design & Firmware Implementing of IEEE802.1 AB (LLDP), IEEE802.1 Qau
(QCN) protocols over BSP for multicore processor (CNXX).
 Testing these modules by connecting CNXX to Arista 7150DSC –P Network
switch, Wireshark.
 Creating Application to send the customizable LLDP and CNM frame for testing
QCN state machines using C, Socket programing.
 Creating network traffic load using Iperf for testing efficiency (speed, packet
dropping).
