Explain that the specific content will be very much dictated by where you would like to cover. Please don’t worry if we don’t look into tool/platform that you really wanted to - this is the first in a series of session, so we will get to them all - I PROMISE! 30 secs
This session is not designed to show you the *how* but to show you *what’s possible* Research yourselves Ask me etc 1 min
We’re all perhaps somewhat guilty of jumping on the latest fad bandwagon, whether that’s the latest TV series, hairstyle, fashion, gadget.... 15 seconds
.... and of course it’s not just the gadgets, the hardware itself. All to often we fail to look beyond the ‘obvious’ features of our software, which very often means that we miss some great opportunities or even worse, invest in yet another tool!!! 15 seconds
We all have a ‘toolbox’ that we use at various times to enhance our sessions. This toolbox is likely to include a range of techniques, practices, behaviors etc as well as tools, gadgets, platforms etc 15 seconds
.... so I’d like to ask you this question now. In terms of technology based tools/platforms etc, which tools are you ignoring? Please let us all know via the Chat panel Pick out 1-2 interesting contributions, open the mic and invite conversation
On this slide there are a selection of well known tools, technologies and platforms. All of which have developed and matured to provide MORE than what it was originally intended to do, beyond their obvious functionality. Now before I progress any further I just want to check with people that they understand what these images/logos represent on the screen. If you ‘get’ them all, please show me a green tick - if there are any that you are unsure of please give me a red cross .
