It is an honor to speak at the first Social Media Breakfast in Maine (twice)
These principles I learned in 1981
We did lots of surveys on these basically asking have you heard of the company or product. Many times people were not aware of a product but certantly the company
What do you think of when I mention company AList several traits
The Vulture looks good from a distance but up close not so pretty. They invite you to a meeting under false pretenses. “I’d like to talk to you about a business opportunity…”
Not only to the one you are talking to but everyone.
We are not talking about fall back into my arms trust. I have a funny story about this. I was teaching a seminar trying to illustrate that you need to know, like and trust someone and pull a random person out of the audience had them stand on a table then asked them to dive into my arms. I didn’t expect that they would simple on the fact that I had not know them. Well the person started to dive and I had to stop her. Found out later she had heard of me from a friend of mine and had built that trust in me because of the trust they had in the friend and this is why I don’t use that object lesson anymore. Remember this slide? 14 million 2nd order followers. Could that be a result of Knowing and Liking and Trusting me?
Whether for profit or not profit your goal is that what ever your selling people will buy.
