3. Existing Product
Match of The Day magazine is all about football and in-depth stats about the
sport, mostly in the Premier League. The stats are mostly individuals stats but
do include team performances also. The target audience is between 10-16
years old. MOTD use a very vibrant/colorful scheme, they use this to stand
out and try gain sales from their target audience. The magazine first hit the
stores back in 1996 over 20 years ago.
5. Existing Product
FourFourTwo again is a football magazine designed and published in the UK. The
first ever release was in 1994. FourFourTwo release extended stats of players,
clubs or financial statements in the world of Football. Similar to MOTD, this
magazine mostly use the Premier League. The color design is again very vibrant
and colorful for the front cover. However the DSP is much more clean and with
larger amount of texts compared to images or MOTD. This is why the target
audience is older and is 14-19 years old.
7. Existing Product
Match is once again a magazine about Football. Out of the 3, I would say this
magazine is the most simplistic and the easiest to read out of them all. This is
why their target audience is the youngest out of them all. (7-12 years old). The
front page is very outgoing and very colorful. Also the DPS is more photos to
text ratio. Match first came out in 1979 and is still going strong when writing
this.
