• 1 John 4:16 (KJV) 16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us.
God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
• Known means to have experienced in the past with present results.
• Believed means to have believed in the past with present results.
• “The love God hath to us” should’ve been translated “the love that God has IN us”.
• And we have known and are currently knowing and have believed and are believing
the love God has (put) in us.
• Scholars believe the next part should’ve started a new verse.

• God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
• God IS love.
• There has never been a time He wasn’t love.
• He is always love.
• He will always be love.
• Everything He thinks, says, and does is out of love, in love, and because of love.
• Love is strong passionate devotion that selflessly gives.
• The Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is strong passionate devotion who selflessly
gives.

• God is love, BUT, do people believe He is Love?
• If people believed that God is love they would walk in love on a consistent basis.
They would walk with Him and act like Him.
• Faith comes by hearing the rhema of God.
• Faith works by love. This is THE reason so many are not walking in faith.
• We must HEAR He IS love in order for faith to grow in love.
• Exodus 34:6 (KJV) 6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The
LORD, The LORD God, merciful (full of compassion) and gracious, longsuffering
(patient) and abundant in goodness (hesed) and truth,
• He IS full of compassion, gracious, patient, overflowing with hesed, and truth.

• How He acts: 1 Corinthians 13:4 (KJV) 4 Charity suffereth long (to persevere
patiently), [and] is kind (to be useful); charity envieth not (is not zealous or angry);
charity vaunteth (boast) not itself, is not puffed up, 5 Doth not behave itself
unseemly (disgraceful), seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh (to
count or rehearse) no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7
Beareth (to cover with silence) all things, believeth all things, hopeth (to waits for
salvation with joy and confidence) all things, endureth all things.
• To be fair to Him and to build faith in His Love, we must take what He says about
Himself as THE Truth.
• We must filter all we know, think, and hear about through who He is and how He
acts.

• Jesus demonstrated who God is and how He acts.
• Acts 10:36 (KJV) 36 The word which [God] sent unto the children of Israel, preaching
peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:) 37 That word, [I say], ye know, which was
published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which
John preached; 38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and
with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the
devil; for God was with him.
• Jesus, the logos of God, did good to people and healed ALL who were oppressed of
the devil.
• His actions were in line with Jeremiah 29:11.

• Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV) 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the
LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
• Thoughts H4284 – anything one meditates upon; plans; purposes.
• Think H2803 – to plot.
• Peace Shalom – nothing missing, nothing broken; Heaven on earth.
• Evil H7451 – bad; unhappy; affliction; sickness; harm; displeasure; wrong.
• Expected H8516 – expectation.
• End H319 – a future event.
• He meditates on us being whole.
• Jesus came to give us life, God’s life experience, overflowing. That’s Love!

• We have experienced His Love and are currently experiencing it.
• He is constantly working to bring about the results of His Love.
• Philippians 2:13 (KJV) 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of
[his] good pleasure.
• Will G2309 – to be resolved to accomplish something; to take delight in doing
something.
• To do G1754 – to be active; to be at work; to put forth power.

• The Holy Spirit is active within us to motivate us to do His Will FOR the purpose of
experiencing shalom.
• The Father has given us shalom, Jesus made it possible to receive it, and the Holy Spirit is
motivating us to do what is necessary to receive it AND producing it in life.
• How?
• Galatians 3:8 (KJV) 8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen
through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, [saying], In thee shall all nations
be blessed. 9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. 13 Christ
hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written,
Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come
on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through
faith.

• People were supposed to hear that Jesus had the power of God and used it to free
people from the enemy AND then gave that power to the people to stay free and to
free others.
• People have been told that they can escape hell. They have not been told God loves
them so much that He has given them His Power, the Blessing!
• We have experienced His Love and are currently doing so.
• Let’s recognize it.

• We have experienced and believed that He has put His Love is us!

• In order to believe His Love is in us we must hear it and receive it.
• Romans 5:1 (KJV) 1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God
through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this
grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only
[so], but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4
And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 And hope maketh not ashamed;
because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is
given unto us.
• Galatians 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into
your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17 That Christ may dwell in
your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to
comprehend with all saints what [is] the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled
with all the fulness of God.
• 1 Corinthians 2:12 (KJV) 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but
the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us
of God.
• 1 Corinthians 6:19 (KJV) 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the
Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

• 2 Corinthians 6:16 (KJV) 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?
for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and
walk in [them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
• Jeremiah 31:33 But this [shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of
Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and
write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
• Love Himself is living IN us!
• It’s time to be Love Conscious!
• Being Love Conscious is living a life that is dangerous to the Kingdom of Darkness!

• 1 John 4:16 (KJV) 16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us.
God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
• Whoever dwells, abides, in Love then dwells, abides, in God AND God in Him.
• Since Love never fails and God never fails then the person walking and living in
Love/God can never fail!
• Dwells G3306 – to stay in a given place, state, relation, or expectancy.
• John 15 is the “how to” when it comes to living in His Love.
• John 15:7 (KJV) 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye
will, and it shall be done unto you.

20. CHAMPIONS OF LOVE
• 2 Corinthians 10:5 (KJV) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that
exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every
thought to the obedience of Christ;
• The reason the enemy attacks the knowledge of or intimacy with God is because of
this –
• 1 John 4:12 (KJV) 12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God
dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
• 1 John 4:16 (KJV) 16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us.
God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
• 1 John 4:18 (KJV) 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear:
because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
• Walking in Love guarantees success in life!
• Without fear, the enemy has no access to your life!

21. CHAMPIONS OF LOVE
• Being conscious of God’s Love puts you in “love bubble” where the enemy
cannot touch you!
• John 15:9 (KJV) 9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue
ye in my love.
• Jesus loved has He experienced, believed, and received His Father’s Love.
• Continue is the same word translated dwell and abide.
• Believers are to live in His and then love others as they’ve been loved.
• Living conscious of God’s Love will make you a Champion of Love!
