Peninsula Foster Grandparent Program Annual Report 2015
1. FGP Mission: Partnering with schools, early
childhood intervention programs, and faith based
communities to provide volunteer services that
address community needs; ensuring that meaningful
relationships with children are being made by
providing love, encouragement, learning and
companionship.
2. As I look over the past year, I take exceeding pride in the fact
that the Peninsula Foster Grandparent Program has continued
to make its mark throughout our community by providing
academic assistance, mentoring, love and tutorial assistances
to at risk children. Recent data shows that during the course
of the year, approximately 555 children received support
through FGP volunteers which improved their academic, social
and behavioral skills.
We do hope that this report will be of great interest and will
encourage you to partner with us as we continue our goal
“To leave a positive footprint for future children and seniors.”
