2. THOR THE DARK

The music is very low key tones with a voice over of
a man explaining the story, the music starts tot pick
up pace and very low key notes start to play as a
black object goes into the earth destroying the land
and cuts it in half. The Marvel title comes with this
like a flip book of marvel sketches this is tradition
in all marvel films. This grabs the viewers attention.
Action scenes show a God and a normal human
together, this indicates there will be war of the
worlds there is a voice of the girl’s voice describing
how she is new to the world of gods and no one
knows they exist. The music further picks up pace
as many action shots are show and then the music
stops when Thor falls to the floor and screams
“Nooo” and then the titles appear. The last scene is
Thor going to his brother and asking him for help
however it is suggested it’s the last hope to go to his
brother as his brother is evil. This suggests that
there is something big about to attack. Then the
titles “coming to cinema in 2D and 3D”.

3. PAN

The opening is of the Warner Brothers logo with clock hands this gives a
clue to the audience its about time, the soft high tone piano sounds like a
clock ticking. A woman has a voice over talking to her son who she is
giving away, there is a lot of children in a big room in beds suggesting an
orphanage. The music stops when the children are taken out of there bed
and put into the attic by people dangling from the ceiling. The music
turns to low notes and the villain Captain Cook in standing on his ships
and talking to his crew in aggressive tones. A soft song starts to play as
you see CGI of the ship flying through the sky the song is about not
giving up and you cannot bring me down, this is suggesting Peter Pan is
the saviour and Captain Cook is trying to stop Pan. The music picks up
pace and many action shots are shown of war and adventure moments,
the music stops are Captain Cook holds Peters face and, asks if he wants
a bed time story and Peter replies; I don’t believe in bed time stories. This
is ironic because Peter Pan is a story which children are told before they
sleep, the music carries on and the title of the film appears.

4. MAGIC MIKE XXL

The trailer opens with the production company logo. A muscly man is welding sand that is
the music, then suddenly a low distorted beat starts to slowly beat as the man stops and
looks at the camera, then every time the same beat happens he pushing a piece of metal
into the grinder. The main character then sits on the chair and starts to dance. This
explains to the viewer that the film is about dance, as he starts to pick up the pace with
dancing so does the music, the last move he does as he spins graphic titles of when the film
is coming out this informs the reader. The music then has lyrics as the men are show
dancing on stage this type of dancing informs the age range of the audience. The last scene
is the scene is of the main character as a funny sketch of him telling his girlfriend who he
is sarcastically, and then titles come up as magic mike the XXL following.

5. SPECTRE

The trailer opening with the production company and distributing companies logos, low instrumental note suggest danger
and this also gives a indication on the film genre as action adventure there is a woman's voice over which is explaining
how James Bond has a secret. This automatically makes the viewer believe this secret is bad or important. Many different
scenes are shown however none with action or violence in this creates a gentle atmospheres. Due to the music and the
story line in the voice over the viewer knows something is wrong. the music turns from deep notes to a high note clicking
sound of a glass and a voice over of a mysterious man explain how James Bond will come to his end. The lighting is low
key and the 3 men sitting around the table are hidden due to the lighting. This suggests they are the villain and this grabs
the viewers attention the man talking is the middle man sitting around the table after his speech a cut to a bullet going
through glass suggest this man would like to kill James Bond.

6. ALL HALLOW EVE

The trailer opens with the production company
logo and the a voice over of a phone call
explaining a girl has to baby sit on Halloween and
she doesn’t want to. As she was trick or treating
with the boys she is looking after they are given a
video tape which they watch. The video is of many
different videos of clouds. As the video plays a high
pitch ringing, this is symbolic for when someone is
passing out they are distorted. The music stops and
a clown jumps out. This is meant to scare the
viewer thus suggesting the trailer is a horror. The
pace of the music increases as the woman watches
the rest of the video and then a woman calls and
explains someone is trying to kill her, a graphic
title of when its released appears. The trailer
finishes with the titles and the credits.
