Homeroom Grade 4/5 Teacher – Tecumseh Public School: Deliver grade four and grade five curriculum, including numeracy, literacy, french,
music/arts, and physical education to students. Develop and implement IEP’s for 8 of 26 students; including specialized modified programming
for two non-readers (Kurzweill, Dragon). Lead and created independent study program for 3 additional grade 4 students identified mid-year as
‘gifted’ by IPRC. Maintain expert level of behavior and classroom management. Coordinate teaching assistants, classroom volunteers, and
parental liaison. Facilitate community-based, hands-on learning experiences exploring social activism and justice, environmental awareness,
and character development. Attend professional development, learning cycles, and team meetings. Lead ArtClub for grades 7 and 8, initiated
food drive in October (Me to We lesson plans), coordinated Toonie Tuesdays, created class newspaper, participated in in Esso’s “Classroom
Energy Challenge” (online), coach Track and Field. Bilingual/teaching French (FSL 1 Qualification).

Homeroom Grade One Teacher – Ealing Public School: Teaching all curriculum subjects with a goal of having all students reading
independently and confidently by December. Implementing strategic read-alouds, strategically designed ‘Daily 5’ Fairy Tales literacy centres,
‘first 20 days of reading’, beanie baby decoding strategies, word work, and a blend of phonemic and sight/pattern readers to encourage a love
of reading. Designed room with effective spaces for conferencing, small and large group instruction. Offering art and fitness clubs; participated
in 100th anniversary celebrations.
LTO (FTE 1.0) JK/SK Teacher Nov 2011 – June 2012
JK/SK Teacher – Byron Southwood Public School: Delivered JK/SK curriculum in a safe and dynamic learning environment for a vibrant and
diverse group of young learners. Students practiced sound segmentation and phonemic awareness, participated in small and large-group
instruction, and visited rotating curriculum-enriched centres. Offered volunteer art instruction to Grades 1-8 and coached Track and Field.

Homeroom Grade One teacher – Victoria Public School: Balanced Literacy, Numeracy, Social Studies, Visual Arts, and Science; administered
DRA testing. In Visual Arts, we created a large painting as a class, which was donated to the Little Black Dress event for Wellspring and raised
over $500. As part of Oral Literacy, groups performed “Goldilocks and the Three Bears”, distributed numbered tickets and programmes, and
created props. Student on behavior plan demonstrated success as Director. Participated in Learning Cycle, PDT meeting, and ALSUP.

Public School, and Technical students from Lucas Secondary School in directing collaborative art mosaic project. Liaised with TVDSB
Aboriginal Programme Director, school administrators, and teachers. Created photo-video montage to display for attendees and wrote
accompanying speech.
