2. Properties File
• Properties file should be used in setting your
default values or static values that are used in
you system. In Mule, it is very nice to separate
the values or put the values in the properties file
to be well organised in your Mule application.
3. Configuring Properties File
• Configuring properties file in Mule application is
very easy. In this tutorial, you should already
created have an existing project or just create a
new instance of mule project.
4. • In this sample project, I simply used Mule 3.7.2.
Please note that any version will do.
• You can try double clicking the mule-project.xml.
On this sample, I added variable env for
environment. The value of env is “dev”. This can
be change later depending on environment you
are in your project.
5. • Next step is to add new file on your
src/main/resources folder. I created a
dev,prod,staging and uat. These values are
initialize in your mule-project.xml or mule-
app.properties.
6. • From the files or properties you made, you can
now configure some of the configurations you
want to make more configurable like http
configurations, jms configuration etc…
7. • Above is the sample of how you configure you
mule configuration or xml.
