7 Facebook Business Tips
• With more than 1 Billion Users, Facebook is definitely something you have to consider using as part of your business strategy - if you haven't done so already - and here are 7 things you can do right now!
1 - Add a Hyperlink in the About Box
• In the left column of your Page you’ll see the About box.
• In this box, make sure to add a hyperlink to your website to encourage traffic to your site.
• You have limited space, so keep it simple by posting something like this: Visit my page : http://chris-chong.com
2 - Add a Facebook 'Like Box' to Your Website
• One of the best ways to drive traffic to your Facebook Page is to promote it on your own website.
• A “Like Box” will make it extremely easy for your visitors to LIKE your Page without ever leaving your website.
3 - Secure Your Custom Facebook URL
• Once you create your Facebook Page and have 30 Fans, go to http://facebook.com/username and secure a username for your Facebook Page.
• Keep it simple so people can remember it. If you get too creative with it, you might confuse your audience.
4 - Ask Smart Questions to Increase Engagement
• There’s a right way and a wrong way to ask questions on Facebook.
• People move fast online and are unlikely to comment with lengthy replies.
• Before you post, think of the likely responses.
