Confrontation
Do it privately.
Do it as soon as possible.
Speak to one issue at a time.
Once you've made a point, don't keep
repeating it.
Deal only with actions the person can
change.
Avoid sarcasm.
Avoid words like always and never.

Don't apologize for the

Communicate.
Establish the communication tool.
Be clear with your communication.
Everyone should be accountable.
Don't be afraid to follow.
As soon as the infraction occurs, deal
with it.
Practice emotional intelligence.
Be an example.
Surround yourself with talented
people (or allow them to show their
talents).
Make more leaders.
Always be a student; thirst for
knowledge.
