INTRODUCTION
Having got a set of beautiful attitudes that can lead to business
requirements and having assigned a relative priority to each of them, we can
begin to look at the characters of great and noble men who have used their
attitude to become leaders and to make a difference by being exceptional,
stand-out.
Conception means the process of forming an idea or a plan. It is an
understanding or belief of what something should be. It is also the process
of an egg being FERTILIZED inside a woman’s body so that she becomes
pregnant; the moment of conception.
Idea and plan work together. To set up a business requires plan and idea.
You will have to conceptualize that plan so that it may produce maximum
results.
You don’t have to abscond from the situation or circumstances around you.
Build faith in you as you believe in God, you can achieve whatever you want,
but you just have to work it out.
Man is justified by faith; therefore we can conclude that a man is justified by
faith without the deeds of the law (ROMANS 3:28).
6
For your conception to materialize you must have a belief or trust in
someone or something; like the faith or belief among Christians in the Holy
Trinity. Faith without works is dead. (JAMES 2:17)
Self Control is the ability to remain calm and not show your emotions even
though you are feeling angry, excited etc.
You have to regain self control rather than lose it to experience and deal
with something that is painful, pleasant, or unpleasant especially without
complaining. This is the act of enduring. If every human being has self
control the world would have been a better place than it is now.
We need to show love to one another, because love is the key factor of self
control. God is love and this is the greatness of God.
“Beloved, let us love one another; for Love is of God; and every one that
loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. (1 JOHN 4:7).

INDICATIVE DIAGNOSIS
I am awakened by the supernaturalability that causethe world to be in a magnificent
Admire of the beautiful creatures that hallowed each generation to the utmost
immortality of God’s presencewhich spreads in awe over the long-stretched ocean, the
baffling mountains, and the beautiful skies, which connotes that every time we have
interpreted nature to the tail-end of mysterious indefiniteness of amazing
conceptuality. Yet, perpetually great goodness adorns all the living creatures in the
planets.
Specifically, the co-ordinates of the foundation of the ozone layer that holds the earth
has never been dug, for while men must burstuntil the dusk of the dawn – they also
will return to dust, all, to face the other end of life which is in the Spiritual Planes of
never-ending mysteries: unconditionally – The fear of what is in the other end of the
‘After Life’ is not an egocentric amusement of those who flames the victory of heavenly
conformity and incorruptibility in spiritual conscience of consciousness. ButIndeed
Celestial!
Liveliness is much more than a mission of livelihood; but an aphorismof spiritual
growth and accumulated prosperity thatincubate the strength of rejoicing:
These words always bring aboutinstruments of merriment and sanity to justthis one
life that every man has to live. These elixir of exciting epitome, wherejudgmentwas

“These déjà vu may not be whimsical!”
In the practical aspect of spiritual apprehension is an adventure that is above

The greatness of God and Self Control
Chapter 1
The greatness of God and Self Control
The Greatness of God:
He who lives for ever created all the universe. The Lord alone will be found
righteous. He has given no one the power to proclaim His works, and who
can fathom His magnificent deed?
Who can assess His magnificent strength, and who can go further and tell of
His mercies?
Nothing can be added to them, nothing subtracted, it is impossible to
fathom the marvels of the Lord. When a man finishes he is only beginning,
and when he stops he is as puzzled as ever.
Offer God no bribe He will not accept it, do not put your faith in an
unvirtuous sacrifice; since the Lord is judge who is no respecter of
personages. - (1 PETER 1:17).
He shows no respect of personages to the detriment of a poor man, He
listens to the plea of the injured party. ‘(PROVERBS 24:23-25)’.
10
He does not ignore the orphan’s supplication, nor the widow’s as she pours
out her story. Do the widow’s tears not run down her cheeks, as she cries
out against the man who caused them?
The man who with his whole heart serves God will be accepted, his petitions
will carry to the clouds, until it arrives he is inconsolable, nor will he desist
until the Most High takes notice of him, acquits the virtuous and delivers
judgment. And the Lord will not be slow, nor will He be dilatory on their
behalf, until He has crushed the loins of the merciless and exacted
vengeance on the nations, until He has eliminated the hordes of the
arrogant and broken scepters of the wicked, until He has repaid each as his
deeds deserve and human actions as their intentions merit, until He has
judged the case of His people, and made them rejoice in His mercy. (JAMES
5:16).
Mercy is welcome in time of trouble, like rain clouds in time of drought.
This is the justice of God!
God has a deep affection, devotion for us His children. The Bible says in
PROVERBS 10:12 “Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.
(KJV).
To be a partaker of God’s greatness, we must show love for God and for our
fellow men like us. “Jesus said; A man can have no greater love than to lay
down his life for his friends. You are my friends, if you do what I command
you. I shall not call you servants any more, because a servant does not know
his master’s business;
I call you friends, because I have made known to you everything I have
learnt from my Father.
11
You did not choose me, no, I chose you; and I commissioned you to go out
and to bear fruit that will last; and then the Father (God) will give you
anything you ask Him in My name. What I command you is to love one
another. “(JOHN 15:13-17).
So you can see that love is the instrument of God for us to achieve
greatness. God wants us to reciprocate our love for Him, and also for one
another.
This was why Jesus Christ came to die for our sins; LOVE.
(JOHN 3:16);
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
……………………….For God is love. (1 JOHN 4:8).
……………………….“Jesus said unto him, thou shalt love the Lord thy God with
all thy heart and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and
great commandment. And the second is like unto it, thou shalt love thy
neighbor as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
(MATTHEW 22:37-40).
The man who fears the Lord will accept His correction; those who eagerly
look for Him will win His favour. The man who seeks the law will be
nourished by it, (the law of love), the hypocrite will find it a stumbling block.
Those who fear the Lord will have justice done them, and make their good
deeds shine like a light. (MATTHEW 5:16).
The sinner waves reproof aside, he finds excuses to do what he wants.
12
A sensible man never scorns a suggestion; a proud and godless man will be
immune to fear.
Never act without reflection, and you will have nothing to regret when you
have done it. Do not venture on a rough road, for fear of stumbling over the
stones. Do not be over confident on an even road, and beware of your own
children. Watch yourself in everything you do, this is what keeping the
commandments means.
The man who trust in the Law of God as written in the Holy Scriptures of
“Matthew 22:37-40” pays attention to the commandments, the man who
has confidence in the Lord will come to no harm.
“If a man fears the Lord, evil will not come his way, again and again he will
be rescued in his trials.”
The man who hates the law is not wise, if hypocritical in observance, he is
like a ship in a storm. “A man of understanding will put his faith in the law,
for him the law is as dependable as an oracle.”
Prepare what you have to say and you will get a hearing, marshall your
informations before you answer.
The feelings of a fool are like a cart-wheel, his thought resolves like a turning
axle. A rutting stallion is like a sarcastic friend; he neighs, whoever rides him.
Self Control
Do not follow your lusts, refrain your desires. If you allow yourself to satisfy
your desires, this will make you the laughing stock of your enemies. Do not
indulge in luxurious living, nor get involved in such society. “Do not beggar
yourself by banqueting on credit when there is nothing in your pocket.
13
Behave like that and you will never grow rich; he who despises trifles will
sink down little by little.” – (PROVERBS 22:26-29).
Wine and women corrupt sensible men, the customer of whores loses all
sense of shame. Grubs and worms will have him as their legacy, and the man
who knows no shame shall lose his life. (PROVERBS 31:3; 23:26-28).
Your adherence must be against loose talk: Being too ready to trust shows
shallowness of mind, by committing sin a man does wrong to himself. Taking
pleasure in evil earns condemnation, by hating gossip a man avoids evil.
Never repeat what you are told and you will come to no harm; whether to
friend or foe, do not talk about it, unless it would be sinful not to, do not
reveal it; you would be heard out, then mistrusted and in due course you
would be hated. Have you heard something? Let it die with you.
Courage! It will not burst you! A fool will suffer birth pangs over something
told him, like a woman labouring with child. Like an arrow stuck in the flesh
of the thigh, such is a piece of news inside of a fool.
“Your shadow is a replica of your image (your person himself). Watch your
shadow and nurture your image. Mind where you go to, and the things you
do, because when you die your soul will take over your shadow. And your
shadow will judge you before God.”

PRAYER OF FAITH
Eternal Life
Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace!
Where there is hatred . . . Let me sow love.
Where there is injury . . . pardon.
Where there is doubt . . . faith.
Where there is despair . . . hope.
Where there is darkness . . . light.
Where there is sadness . . . joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much
Seek
To be consoled . . . as to console,
To be understood . . . as to understand,
To be loved . . . as to love;
For it is in giving . . . that we receive;
It is in pardoning . . . that we are pardoned;
15
It is in dying . . . that we are born to eternal
life.
The happiness of the Sage
Chapter 2
The happiness of the Sage:
The heart of a sensible man will reflect on parables, an attentive ear is the
sage’s dream. Happy the man who has not sinned in speech and who need
feel no remorse for sins. Happy the man whose own soul does not accuse
him, and who has never given up hope.
Happiness is an instruction given to us by God. The only way you can stay
happy is just by acquiring wisdom. Cultivate your neighbours as far as you
can, and consult with wise men, let all your discussions bear on the law of
the Most High. – (PROVERBS 24:6).
The Bible tells us in “PHILIPPIANS 4:4-5” that: Rejoice in the Lord Alway: and
again I say, Rejoice.
Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.’
The word of God can give you true happiness, if only you trust in God alone.
Happy the man who meditates on wisdom, and reasons with good sense,
who studies her ways in his heart, and ponders her secrets.
He pursue her like a hunter and lies in wait by her path; he peeps in at her
windows and listens at her doors; he lodges close to her house, and fixes his
16
peg in her walls; he pitches his tent at her side, and lodges in an excellent
lodging; he sets his children in her shade, and camps beneath her branches;
he is sheltered by her from the heat, and in her glory he makes his home.
It is time to rejoice; apply the word of God to your life and it will guarantee
you wisdom. “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with
all thy getting get understanding.” – (PROVERBS 4:7).
Whoever fears the Lord will act like this, and whoever grasps the law will
obtain wisdom. She will come to meet him like a mother, and receive him
like a virgin bride.
She will give him the bread of understanding to eat, and the water of
wisdom to drink.
He will lean on her and will not fall, he will rely on her and not be put to
shame. She will raise him high above his neighbours, and in full assembly she
will open his mouth.
He will find happiness and a crown of joy, he will inherit an everlasting
name.
Foolish men will not gain possession of her, nor will sinful men set eyes on
her. She stands remote from pride, and liars cannot call her to mind.
Praise is unseemly in a sinners mouth, since it has not been put there by the
Lord.
For praise should only be uttered in Wisdom, and the Lord Himself then
prompts it.
Sage is resemblance for a very wise person especially because you have a
lot of experience.
17
Conception of Securities
Chapter 3
Conception Of Securities
Talking about securities, there are a lot of definitions for the word
“Security”. Conception of securities means a plan or idea of security
guaranteed.
Security is the activities involved in protecting a country, building or person
against attack, danger, etc. Security is the department of a large company or
organization that deals with the protection of its building equipments and
staff.
“Security is the protection against something bad that might happen in the
future for example financial or job security.”
Security is the state of feeling happy and safe from danger or worry. It also
means a valuable item, such as a house, that you agree to give somebody if
you are unable to pay back the money that you have borrowed from them
for example: home and business being held as security for the loan.
Securities in finance are documents proving that somebody is the owner of
shares, etc in a particular company.
In all, only the Word of God can guarantee you true and effective security.
18
The Word of God is a light full of radiance and vigor to invigorate you, and to
build you up and give you understanding about the knowledge of God’s
Word.
“The word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path: (PSALM
119:105”.
The entrance of thy word giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the
simple – PSALM 119:130.
You must develop the act or habit of praying. Prayer is the words which you
say to God giving thanks or asking for help or prayer is a fixed form of words
that you can say when you speak to God. Prayer is the key to success. For
you to be successful, you must become prayerful.
For effective security you must know the Word of God for yourself and use
it. – (2 TIMOTHY 2:15).
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your
hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. – (PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7).
A good man will go surety for his neighbor; a man has lost all shame if he
fails him. Do not forget the favour your guarantor has done for you; He has
given His life for you. – (LUKE 24:1-9; JOHN 20:18-31; 3:16-17, 21).
A sinner is careless of his guarantor’s prosperity, an ungrateful man forgets
the one who saved him. Going surety has ruined many prosperous men and
rocked them like a wave of the sea. It has driven powerful men from home
to wander among foreign nations.
19
The sinner who involves himself with guarantees, in pursuit of a deal, will
find himself involved in lawsuits. Come to your neighbour’s help as far as
you can, but take care not to fall into the same plight.
Security is Home and hospitality. In God you will find securities and be
established. – (ACTS 16:31).
The first thing in life is water, and bread and clothing and a house for the
sake of privacy. Better a poor man’s life under roof of planks than lavish fare
in the house of another. Whether you have little or much, be content with it,
and you will not be dubbed an intruder.
It is a miserable life, going from house to house; wherever you stay, not
daring to open your mouth; you are a stranger, you know the taste of
humiliation, not to mention the sound of embittering words.
‘Come along, stranger, lay the table, if you have anything with you, give it to
me to eat.’
‘Go away, Stranger, make room for someone important; my brother is
coming to stay I need the house.’
It is hard for a cultured man to hear himself begrudge hospitality and
treated like an undischarged debtor.
Riches:
The sleeplessness brought by wealth makes a man lose weight, the worry it
causes drives away sleep.
The worries of the daytime interfere with slumber, as a serious illness drives
away sleep.
20
The rich man toils, piling up money, and when he leaves off, he stuffs
himself with luxuries; the poor man toils, his livelihood dwindling, and when
he leaves off, is destitute.
The man who loves gold will not be reckoned virtuous, the man who chases
after profit will be caught by it.
Many have gone to their ruin for the sake of gold, though their destruction
stared them in the face; it is a snare for those who sacrifice to it, and every
fool will be caught by it.
“Happy the rich man who is found to be blameless and does not go chasing
after gold.” – (1 TIMOTHY 6:17-19; PROVERBS 10:2; 24:11-14; 30:5-9).
Who is he for us to congratulate him, since he has achieved wonders among
his kind?
Who has been through this test and emerged perfect?
He may be proud of that! Who has had the power to sin and has not sinned,
to wrong another and not done it?
His fortune will be firmly based and the assembly will acclaim his generosity.
The fear of God can grant you all level of securities and independence.
The man who fears the Lord will accept correction; those who eagerly look
for Him will win His favour.
Never have a plan or idea without the fear of God. Those who fear the Lord
will have justice done them, and make their good deeds shine like a light.
(The prime needs of mankind for living are water and fire, iron and salt,
wheat-flour, milk and honey, the juice of the grape, oil and clothing).

Enterprise’s Awareness Tips:
 “Personnel policies of an enterprise in a commercialized setting must take
cognizance of the mission and goal of the organization. The management and
effective mobilization of the human resources in any organization is central
to the realization of its corporate objectives.
A Personnel Policy therefore is an articulated statement of aims and ideals,
guidelines and regulations governing the conduct of personnel matters in an
organization.”
 “Good corporate governance is critical to effective operations and business
success, but achieving this objective is not always easy. Good governance
requires attention to the nature of a public enterprise, its character and
business, and recognition that these things change over time. Regular
reviews, whether general or specifically targeted, can help to preserve the
public enterprise’s edge.
THE PRESIDENCY
BUREAU OF PUBLIC ENTERPRISES
Little things run fast and friendly. The way in which individuals are
allowed – in fact required – to make many of the decisions makes the
organization very flexible and responsiveto the market-place. The business
presents a very human face to the customer.

Conception of Intellectual knowledge
Chapter 4
Conception of intellectual knowledge
Intellectual knowledge is the knowledge connected with or using a person’s
ability to think in a logical way and understand things so as to know. It is of a
person well educated and enjoying activities in which you have to think
seriously about things.
You cannot use intellectual knowledge to ascertain the fear of God.
“God is Spirit, and His worshippers must worship in spirit and in truth.” -
JOHN 4:24 (NIV).
You must worship God in spirit and in truth. If you pray for your spirit to
have knowledge and understanding you shall have it.
“The life of every brute and plant on earth Is by the quick beams of the
sacred fires From its combining potencies drawn forth.
But the Supreme Benignity inspires Directly your life, making it to love Itself,
and kindling it to fresh desires.
23
For thee this argument may further prove Your resurrection, if the thought
be weighed How human flesh was formed to breathe and move, when the
first parents both of them were made.
One must hope that each of us might increase our capacity for greater
humility, that we might become more mature and hence give more of
ourselves, and in a broad sense, love more effectively.
These are the virtues that are cardinal in every religion and hence are the
centers of interest of the rabbi and the priest and the minister in each of his
parishioners. I happen to be one of those physicians who believes that these
virtues are the center of our focus. In advocating this necessity to learn to
love more effectively, one is mindful of the fact that every religion has
taught us that God is love – and that it is from Him that one can gain
strength (knowledge) – so well verbalized by the Psalmist: “I lift up mine
eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help.”
It is my conviction that this belief can be a bulwark of strength (Spiritual
Knowledge) in the life of every one of us.
Life as the godless see it:
But the godless call with deed and word for Death, counting him friend, they
wear themselves out for him, with him they make a pact, and are fit to be
his partners.
For they say to themselves with their misguided reasoning:
‘Our life is short and dreary, nor is there any relief when man’s end comes,
nor is anyone known who can give release from hades.
By chance we came to birth, and after this life we shall be as if we had never
been. The breath in our nostrils is a puff of smoke, reason a spark from the
24
beating of our hearts; put this out and our body turns to ashes, and the spirit
melt away like idle air.
In time, our name will be forgotten, nobody will remember what we have
done; our life will pass away like wisps of cloud, dissolve like the mist that
the sun’s ray drive away and the heat of it overwhelms.
Yes, our days are the passing of a shadow, from our death there is no
turning back, the seal is set: no one returns. ‘Come then, let us enjoy what
good things there are, use this creation with the zest of youth: take our fill of
the dearest wines and perfumes, let no one flower of springtime pass us by,
before they wither crown ourselves with roses.
Let none of us forgo his part in our orgy, let us leave signs of revelry
everywhere, this is our portion, this is the lot assigned us.
‘As for the virtuous man who is poor, let us oppress him, let us not spare the
widow, nor respect old age, white-haired with many years.
Let our strength be the yardstick of virtue, since weakness argues its own
futility. Let us lie in wait for the virtuous man, since he annoys us and
opposes our way of life, reproaches us for our breaches of the law and
accuses us of playing false to our upbringing. He claims to have knowledge
of God, and calls himself a son of the Lord. Before us he stands, a reproof to
our way of thinking, the very sight of him weighs our spirits down; his way of
life is not like other men’s, the path he treads are unfamiliar.
In his opinion we are counterfeit; he holds aloof from our doings as though
from filth; he proclaims the final end of the virtuous as happy and boasts of
having God for his Father.
25
Let us see if what he says is true, let us observe what kind of end he himself
will have.
If the virtuous man is God’s son, God will take His part and rescue him from
the clutches of his enemies.
Let us test him with cruelty and with torture, and thus explore the
gentleness of his and put his endurance to the proof. Let us condemn him to
a shameful death since he will be looked after – we have his word for it.
The godless gravely mistaken
This is the way they reason, but they are misled, their malice makes them
blind.
They do not know the hidden things of God, they have no hope that holiness
will be rewarded, they can see no reward for the blameless souls. Yet God
did make man imperishable, He made him in the image of His own nature;
It was the devil’s envy that brought death into the world, as those who are
his partners will discover.

Curses reaped by the wicked
Do not long for a brood of worthless children, and take no pleasure in
godless sons.
However many you have, take no pleasure in them, unless the fear of the
Lord lives among them.
26
Do not count on their having long life, do not put too much faith in their
future; for better have one than a thousand, better die childless than have
godless ones.
Conception of Spiritual Knowledge
Chapter 5
Conception of Spiritual Knowledge
Spiritual knowledge begins with Wisdom. Spiritual knowledge is connected
with the human spirit, rather than the body or physical things.
Wisdom is a spirit, a friend of man, though she will not pardon the words of
a blasphemer, since God sees into the innermost parts of him, truly observe
his heart, and listens to his tongue.
The Spirit of the Lord, indeed, fills the whole world, and that which holds all
things together knows every word that is said.
A Prayer For Wisdom
‘God of our ancestors, Lord of Mercy, who by your word have made all
things, and in your wisdom have fitted man to rule the creatures that have
come from you, to govern the world in holiness and justice and in honesty of
27
soul to wield authority, grant me wisdom, consort of your throne, and do
not reject me from the number of your children………………………………………
(WISDOM 9:1-4) (TJB).
Let us take a look of some of our ancestors who had worked in spiritual
knowledge because God granted them wisdom:
Eulogy of some of the ancestors:
Next let us praise illustrious men, our ancestors in their successive
generations.
The Lord created an abundance of glory and displayed His greatness from
earliest times. Some wielded authority as kings and were renowned for their
strength; others were intelligent advisers and uttered prophetic oracles.
Others directed the people by their advice, by their understanding of the
popular mind, and by the wise words of their teaching; others composed
musical melodies, and set down ballads; others were rich and powerful,
living peacefully in their homes.
All these were honoured by their contemporaries, and were the glory of
their day. Some of them left a name behind them, so that their praises are
still sung. While others have left no memory, and disappeared as though
they had never been, and so too, their children after them.
But here is a list of generous men whose good works have not been
forgotten. In their descendants there remains a rich inheritance born of
them. Their descendants stand by the covenants and, thanks to them, so do
their children’s children.
28
Their offspring will last forever, their glory will not fade. Their bodies have
been buried in peace, and their name lives on for all generations. The
peoples will proclaim their wisdom, the assembly will celebrate their praises.
Enoch
Enoch pleased the Lord and was taken up, an example for the conversion of
all generations. (HEBREWS 11:5); (GENESIS 5:24).
Noah
Noah was found perfectly virtuous, in the time of wrath he became the
Scion: because of him a remnant was preserved for the earth at the coming
of the flood. [Noah’s ark: the ‘proud giants are the Nephilim of Genesis 6].
Everlasting covenants were made with him that never again should every
living creature perish by flood. (GENESIS 6–9; 6:18; 9: 11-12); (2 PETER 2:5).
Abraham
Abraham, the great forefather of a host of nations, no one was ever his
equal in glory.
He observed the law of the Most High and entered into a covenant in his
own flesh, and proved himself faithful under ordeal.
The Lord therefore promised him an oath to bless the nations through his
descendants, to multiply him like the dust on the ground, to exalt his
descendants like the stars, and give them the land for their inheritance, from
sea to sea, from the River to the ends of the earth. (GENESIS 11:31; 15:7-21);
(GALATIANS 3:7); (HEBREWS 11:12).
Isaac and Jacob
29
To Isaac too, for the sake of Abraham his father, he assured the blessings of
all mankind; he caused the covenant to rest on the head of Jacob. He
confirmed him in his blessings and gave him the land for his inheritance;
He divided it into portions and shared it out among the twelve tribes.
(GENESIS 21:1-12; 25:19-27; 37:1-3; 47:28; 49:33); (PSALM 105:8-15;
GENESIS 27:27-29;35:9-13; 49:1-33; REVELATION 7:2-8); (EZEKIEL 9:4; 44:5).
Moses
From him He produced a generous man who found favour in the eyes of all
mankind, beloved by God and men, Moses, of blessed memory.
He made him the equal of the holy ones in glory and made him strong, to
the terror of his enemies. At the word of Moses He made the miracle stop,
He raised him high in the respect of kings; He gave him commandments of
His people, and showed him something of His glory. For his loyalty and
gentleness He sanctified him, choosing him alone out of all mankind; He
allowed him to hear His voice, and led him into the darkness; He gave him
the commandments face to face, the law of life and knowledge, to teach
Jacob His ordinances and Israel His decrees. (DEUTERONOMY 33; also
EXODUS 28:30, LEVITICUS 8:8, EXODUS 20:1-21; NUMBERS 12:3-16).
Joshua
Mighty in war was Joshua son of Nun, successor to Moses in the prophetic
office, who well deserved his name (Joshua means ‘Yahweh-saves.’ The Greek form of the
same name is Jesus), and was a great savior of the Chosen People, wreaking
vengeance on the enemies who opposed him, and so bringing Israel into its
inheritance.
30
How splendid he was when he raised his arms to brandish his sword against
cities!
Who had ever shown such determination as his? He himself waged the wars
of the Lord.
Was not the sun held back by his hand, and one day drawn out into two?
He called on God the Most High, and he pressed the enemy on every side;
and the great Lord answered him with hard and violent hailstones.
He fell on the enemy nation, and at the Descent he destroyed all resistance;
that the nations might acknowledge his war like prowess and know that
their foe was the Lord. – (JOSHUA 1-24); (NUMBERS 14:6-9).
Caleb
For he was a follower of the Mighty One, and in time of Moses he did
devoted service, he (Joshua) and Caleb son of Jephunneh, by opposing the
whole community, by preventing the people from sinning, and by silencing
the mutters of rebellion.
Hence these two alone were preserved out of six hundred thousand men on
the march, into a land where milk and honey flow.
The Lord gave Caleb the Strength – which he retained right into old age – to
tread the highlands of the country which his descendants still hold as their
inheritance, for all the sons of Israel to see that it is good to follow the Lord.
– “(NUMBERS 13:30; 14:6-9); (1CHRONICLES 4:15, 38-41)”.
The Judges
31
The judges too, each when he was called, all men whose hearts were never
disloyal, who never turned their backs on the Lord – may their memory be
blessed!
May their bones flower again from the tomb, and may the names of those
illustrious men live again in their sons. – (EXODUS 18:13-27; JUDGES 3-21).
Samuel
Samuel was beloved of his Lord; prophet of the Lord, he instituted the
kingdom, and anointed rulers over his people.
In the Law of the Lord he judged the assembly, and the Lord watched over
Jacob.
By his loyalty he was recognized as a prophet, by his words he was known to
be a trustworthy seer. He called on the Lord, the Mighty One, when his
enemies pressed him on every side, by offering a sucking lamb.
And the Lord thundered from heaven, and made His voice heard in a rolling
peal; He massacred the leaders of the enemy, and all the rulers of the
Philistines.
Before the time of his everlasting rest he bore witness before the Lord and
His anointed, ‘Of no property, not even a pair of sandals, have I deprived a
soul’.
Nor did anyone accuse him.
And after he fell asleep he prophesied again, warning the king of his death;
he lifted up his voice from the earth in prophecy, to blot out the wickedness
of the people. – (1 SAMUEL 3:1-21; 10:1-8; 12:1-25; 16:1-13; 25:1).
Nathan
32
After him (Samuel) arose Nathan,
to prophesy in the time of David.
- (2 SAMUEL 7:4-17; 12:1-15).
David
As the fat is set apart from the communion sacrifice, so David was chosen
out of all the sons of Israel. He played with lions as though with kids, and
with bears as though with lambs of the flock.
While still a boy, did he slay the giant, and relieve the people of their shame,
by putting out a hand to sling a stone which brought down the arrogance of
Goliath? – (1 SAMUEL 16:12-13; 17:14-50; 17:34-37).
For he called on the Lord Most High, who gave strength to his right arm to
put mighty warrior to death, and lift up the horn of his people. Hence they
gave him credit for ten thousand, and praised him while they blessed the
Lord, by offering him a crown of glory; for he massacred enemies on every
side, he annihilated his foes the Philistines, and crushed their horn to this
very day. (1 SAMUEL 21:9; 18:6,7; 21:11; 17:57-58).
In all his activities he gave thanks to the Holy One, the Most High, in words
of glory; he put all his heart into his songs out of love for his Maker. – (2
SAMUEL 22; 23:1-7; PSALM 105; 89; 114; 136; 18; 19; 9; 23; 68).
He placed harps before the altar to make the singing sweeter with their
music; he gave the feasts their splendor, the festivals their solemn pomp,
causing the Lord’s Holy name to be praised and the sanctuary to resound
from dawn. (2 SAMUEL 6:5; 7:18-29; (PSALM 119:97-104; 122; 27:4).
33
The Lord took away his sins, and exalted his horn for ever; He gave him a
royal covenant, and a glorious throne in Israel. - (1 SAMUEL 16:1, 13);
(2 SAMUEL 3:9,10; 2:4; 5:1-5; 7:4-17; 12:13; 24:25).
Solomon
A wise son succeeded him (David), who lived spaciously, thanks to him.
Solomon reigned in a time of peace, and God gave him peace all round so
that he could raise a house in His name and prepare an everlasting
sanctuary. How wise you were in your youth, brimming over with
understanding like a river! – (1 KINGS 1:28-40; 3:16-28; 3:1-15; 5-9: 1-9).
Your mind ranged the earth, you filled it with mysterious sayings. Your name
reached the distant islands, and you were loved for your peace.
Your songs, your proverbs, your sayings and your retorts made you the
wonder of the world. – ‘(1 KINGS 4:29-34; 5:4,12; 10:23; 10:1-29).
In the name of the Lord God, of Him who is called the God of Israel, you
amassed gold like so much tin, and made silver as common as lead.’ You
abandoned your body to women, you became the slave of your appetites.
You stained your honour, you profaned your stock, so bringing wrath on
your children and grief on your posterity: the sovereignty was split in two,
from Ephraim arose a rebel kingdom. But the Lord would not go back on His
mercy, or undo any of His words, He would not obliterate the issue of His
elect, nor destroy the stock of the man who loved Him; and so He granted to
Jacob and to David a root springing from Him……….. ( 1 KINGS 11:1-13; 26-
43; 12:16-19; 14:20-21; 14:29-30).
“Solomonmeans‘manofpeace’ “.
34
Rehoboam (The reign of Rehoboam 931-913)
Solomon rested with his ancestors, leaving one of his stock as his successor,
the stupidest member of the nation, brainless Rehoboam, whose policy
drove the nation to rebel. – (2 CHRONICLES 10-12); (1 KINGS 14:21-31).
Jeroboam (The reign of Jeroboam 931-910)
Next, Jeroboam son of Nebat, who made Israel sin, and set Ephraim on the
way of evil; from then on their sin multiplied so excessively as to drive them
out of their country; for they tried out every kind of wickedness, until
vengeance over took them – (1KINGS 11:26-40; 14:1-20).
Elijah
Then the prophet Elijah arose like a fire, his word flaring like a torch. It was
he who brought famine on them, and who decimated them in his zeal.
By the word of the Lord, he shut up the heavens, he also, three times,
brought down fire.
How glorious you were in your miracles, Elijah!
Has anyone reason to boast as you have? – rousing a corpse from death,
from Sheol by the word of the Most High; dragging kings down to
destruction, and high dignitaries from their beds; hearing reproof on Sinai,
and decrees of punishment on Horeb; anointing kings as avengers, and
prophets to succeed you; taken up in the whirlwind of fire, in a chariot with
fiery horses; designated in the prophecies of doom to allay God’s wrath
35
before the fury breaks, toturnthe heartsof fatherstowardstheirchildren
(MALACHI 4:6), and to restore the tribes of Jacob.
Happy shall they be who see you, and those who have fallen asleep in love;
for we too will have life. – (1 KINGS 17-21; 22:1-54; 2 KINGS 1; 2:1-18).
“[‘Sheol is the Hebrew term for Death’, while ‘Hades is the
Greek term for Death’]”.
Elisha
Elijah was shrouded in the whirlwind, and Elisha was filled with his spirit;
throughout his life no ruler could shake him, and no one could subdue him.
No task was too hard for him, and even in death his body prophesied. In his
lifetime he performed wonders, and in death his works were marvelous. – (2
KINGS 2:19-25; 3-12; 13:1-21).
Zerubbabel and Joshua
How shall we extol Zerubbabel?
He was like a signet ring on the right hand, so too was Jeshua son of Jozadak;
they who in their days built the Temple, and raised to the Lord a holy
people, destined to everlasting glory. – (EZRA 5:2).
Nehemiah
Great too is the memory of Nehemiah, who rebuilt our walls which lay in
ruins, erected the gates and bars and rebuilt our houses. – (NEHEMIAH 1:1-
11; 6:15).
36
Retrospect
No one else has ever been created on earth to equal Enoch, for he was
taken up from earth.
And no one else ever born like Joseph, the leader of his brothers, the prop of
his people; his bones were honoured.
Shem and Seth were honoured among men, but above every living creature
is Adam.
The Lord Jesus Christ not only son also Lord of David:
Later, while teaching in the Temple, Jesus said, ‘How can the scribes
maintain that the Christ is the son of David? David himself, moved by the
Holy Spirit, said:
The Lord said unto my Lord:
Sit at my right hand
And I will put your enemies
Under your feet.
37
David himself calls Him Lord, in what way then can He be his son? And the
great majority of the people heard this with delight. MARK 12:35-37.
I Jesus sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am
the root and offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. –
(REVELATION 22:16).
Exhortation:
And now bless the God of all things, the doer of great deeds everywhere,
who has exalted our days from the womb and acted towards us in His
mercy. May He grant us cheerful hearts and bring peace in our time, in Israel
for ages on ages.
May His mercy be faithfully with us, may he redeem us in our time.
Conclusion
“…………Happy is he who busies himself with these things, and grows wise by
taking them to heart.
If he practices them he will be strong enough for anything, since the light of
the Lord is his path.
(Do your work before the appointed time and He in His time will give you
your reward.’).

“The Tongue”
Chapter 6
“The Tongue”
A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the
increase of his lips shall he be filled.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat
the fruit thereof. – PROVERBS 18:20-21.
The tongue is the soft part in the mouth that moves around, used for
tasting, swallowing or speaking etc.
39
You must learn to control your tongue. Speak positively: but know when to
speak and when not to, and you will be respected by those you are following
or leading.
Avoid inappropriate talk!
Better a slip on the pavement than a slip of the tongue;
this is how ruin takes the wicked by surprise.
A coarse-grained man is like an indiscreet story endlessly retold by the
ignorant.
Lying is an ugly blot on a man, and ever on the lips of the ignorant. A thief is
preferable to an inveterate liar, but both are heading for ruin.
Lying is an abominable habit, so that disgrace is the liar’s for ever.
A kindly turn of speech multiplies a man’s friends, and a courteous way of
speaking invites many a friendly reply. Let your acquaintances be many, but
your advisers one in a thousand.
Practice the art of giving: My son, do not temper your favours with
disparagement, nor any of your gifts with words that hurt. Does not dew
relieve the heat?
In the same way a word is better than a good present, but a generous man is
ready with both.
A fool will offer nothing but insult, and a grudging man’s gift makes the eyes
smart.
Why surely, a word is worth more than a gift.
SILENCE AND SPEECH
40
There is the rebuke that is untimely, and there is the man who keeps quiet,
and he is the shrewd one. But how much better to rebuke than to fume!
The man who acknowledges a fault wards off punishment.
‘Like a eunuch longing to take a girls virginity so is he who uses force to
argue cases’: “(Eunuchs were bastards; ‘actually eunuchs were those who had no
sexual organs or whose sexual organs had been removed. They were called bastards
in other for them not to be too ridiculed), and they were excluded from the
community of Israel and from the blessings promised to the Chosen People -
‘DEUTERONOMY 23:2’)”
There is the man who keeps quiet and is considered wise, another incurs
hatred for talking too much.
There is the man who keeps quiet, not knowing how to answer, another
keeps quiet, because he knows when to speak. A wise man will keep quiet
till the right moment, but a garrulous fool will always misjudge it.
The man who talks too much will get himself disliked, and the self-appointed
oracle will make himself hated. A wise man advances himself by his words, a
shrewd man will please princes. He who tills the soil will have a full harvest,
he who pleases princes will secure pardon for his offences.
There is a manner of talking that is fraught with death; let it not be found in
the inheritance of Jacob, for devout men will keep all that far from them,
they will not wallow in sin. Do not habituate your mouth to coarseness and
foul language, for this means sinful talk.
Remember your father and mother when you are sitting among princes, in
case you forget yourself in their presence and behave like a fool, and then
wish you had not been born, and curse the day of your birth.
41
A man in the habit of using improper words will never break himself of it
however long he lives.
Avoid quarrelling and you will sin less; for a hot tempered man provokes
quarrels, a sinner sows trouble between friends, introducing discord among
men at peace. The way a fire burns depends on its fuel, a quarrel spreads in
proportion to its violence; a man’s rage depends on his strength, his fury
grows fiercer in proportion to his wealth. A sudden quarrel kindles fire, a
hasty dispute leads to bloodshed. Blow on a spark and up it flares, spit on it
and out it goes; both are the effects of your mouth.
In a shaken sieve the rubbish is left behind, so too the defects of a man
appear in his talk.
The kiln tests the work of the potter, the test of a man is in his conversation.
The orchard where the tree grows is judged on the quality of its fruit,
similarly a man’s words betray what he feels. Do not praise a man before he
has spoken, since this is the test of men. – (PROVERBS 27:2).
The Tongue
A curse on the scandal-monger and the deceitful, he has ruined many who
lived in concord.
That third tongue has shaken many, and driven them from nation to nation;
it has pulled down fortified cities, and overturned the houses of princes.
The third tongue has driven virtuous wives out of house and home, and
deprived them of the due reward for their hard work.
Anyone who listens to it will never know peace of mind, will never live in
peace again. A stroke of the whip raises a weal, but a stroke of the tongue
42
breaks bones. Many have fallen by the edge of the sword, but many more
have fallen by the tongue.
Happy the man who has been sheltered from it, and has not experienced its
fury, who has not dragged its yoke about, or been bound in its chains; the
death it inflicts is a miserable death, Sheol is preferable to it.
It cannot gain a hold over the devout, they are not burnt by its flames.
Those who desert the Lord will fall into it, it will flare up inextinguishably
among them, it will be let loose against them like a lion, it will tear them like
a leopard.
Look, fence your property round with a quick thorn hedge, lock away your
silver and gold;
Then make scales and weights for your words; and put a door with bolt
across your mouth.
Take care you take no false step through it, in case you fall a prey to him
who lies in wait. [PROVERBS 25:11].
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear; because fear hath
torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. (1 JOHN 4:18).
The mind and the tongue agree in one thing. For out of the abundance of
the mind, the mouth speaketh. The mind is the ABILITY TO THINK.
It is the part of a person that makes them able to be aware of things, to
think and feel. The mind is the particular way that somebody thinks: it is
your intelligence.
If you control your tongue then you control your mind. One of the best way
to control your tongue is by talking less.
43
If you can conquer your mind, then you dictate what happens to you next!
We are One hundred percent of what we think.
PROVERBS 7:4
“Say unto Wisdom thou art my sister; and call understanding thy
kinswoman.”
Words to Live By
The spectrum of love has nine ingredients:
Patience: “Love suffereth long.”
Kindness: “And is kind.”
Generosity: “Love envieth not.”
Humility: “Love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up.”
Courtesy: “Doth not behave itself unseemly.”
Unselfishness: “Seeketh not her own.”
Good Temper: “Is not easily provoked.”
Guilelessness: “Thinketh no evil.”
Sincerity: “Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth.”
44
Patience; kindness; generosity; humility; courtesy; unselfishness; good
temper; guilelessness; sincerity – these make up the supreme gift, the
stature of the perfect man. You will observe that all are in relation to men,
in relation to life, in relation to the known today and the near tomorrow,
and not to the unknown eternity. We hear much of love of man.
We make a great deal of peace with Heaven; Christ made much of peace
on earth.
Religion is not a strange or added thing, but the inspiration of the secular
life, the breathing of an eternal spirit through the temporal world. The
supreme thing, in short, is not a thing at all, but the giving of a further
finish to the multitudinous words and acts which make up the sum of
every common day.
DIVINE REVELATION
When God created man according to the Holy Bible book of
GENESIS 1:26-27; 2:18-25;
‘And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:
and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the
fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth.’
‘So God created man in His own image, in the image of God
created he him: male and female created he them.
After God created man and saw that man (Adam) was alone, He
agreed with the priest of the Most High God “Melchizedek” who
is in the order of Jesus Christ” and the Holy Spirit and the angels
in heaven that a help mate should be created for man. God and
all the host of angels in heaven decided to create a woman, then
the Devil came in the midst of them, and said unto God, the
creator of the universe; that you made male man (Adam) a little
lower than the angels…..
45
‘Are you going to make woman (female man), higher than O’
Lucifer?
Make woman (female man) to be a little lower than man (Adam),
so that I can use the woman to persecute the man, because you
promised me the whole earth – so that I may rule it with my
cohorts; and that you may devour sinners: those who will fall into
temptation, and those who commit evil acts and atrocities, and
those whose hearts are far away from You holy God.
The Almighty God was vexed, because when He made man
(Adam) there was no guile in him; so He (God) couldn’t breathe
into the woman’s nostril because of the Devil’s request. For God is
stirred up by His righteousness, holiness and goodness. And God
allowed the Devil’s request to come to pass to enable Him test the
faith of Adam.
The Almighty God caused man (Adam) into a deep sleep that was
after he had breathed life into man, and man became a living
soul; and God took one of his (Adam’s) ribs, and closed up the
flesh instead thereof;
And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made He a
woman, and brought her unto the man.
And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my
flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of
Man.
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall
cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not
ashamed. (But Adam never knew that God granted the Devil’s
request to use Eve to persecute him: until after she had ate the
forbidden fruit and given it to him (Adam) who also ate from the
fruit; For the LORD God wanted to test the faith of man (Adam)
over Satan, but man fell.
46
Perhaps, God breathed life into the nostril of man which He made
from dust, but a woman was given life by the rib that God
collected from man, though she was also made from dust. So the
man became the head of the woman.
‘From dust we came, and to dust shall we all also return’:
“(To enhance your scope about this revelation read these scriptures below:
GENESIS 1:26-27; 2:18-25; 3:19-20; ISAIAH 14; REVELATION 12; ECCLESIATES 1:4; HEBREWS 7:1-28; 1
CORINTHIANS 11:3).
“What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou
visitest him?
For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him
with glory and honour.
Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast
put all things under his feet……..”
- (PSALM 8:4-6)
‘This is why the saints must have constancy and faith:’
All the riches of this world belong to us men. Through redemption by Jesus
Christ, Christians are to be the most successful, the richest and the most
prosperous of all people (Deuteronomy 28:1-15), because we have been
restored to Eden.

WHAT IS A REVELATION?
“A ‘REVELATION” (CALLED APOCALYPSE, FROM THE GREEK TERM) IS A
DISTINCT LITERARY FORM; APOCALPYTIC WRITING WAS VERY POPULAR IN
SOME JEWISH CIRCLES AT THE BEGINNING OF THE ‘CHRISTIAN’ ERA.” THE
FRAMEWORK OF A ‘REVELATION IS ALWAYS A VISION OF HIDDEN
SUPERNATURAL EVENTS; THE LANGUAGE IN WHICH THE VISION IS
DESCRIBED IS RICHLY SYMBOLIC AND SO ALLUSIVE THAT THE MESSAGE
CAN BE INTERPRETED IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE. ‘THUS THE “BOOK OF
REVELATION” IS NOT TO BE ACCEPTED SIMPLY AS AN ALLEGORY WHICH
CAN BE DIRECTLY TRANSLATED INTO OTHER TERMS…..’
Then I saw another angel, flying high overhead, sent to announce the Good
News of eternity to all who live on the earth, every nation, race, language
and tribe.’ “He was calling, ‘Fear God and praise Him, because the time has
come for Him to sit in judgment; worship the maker of heaven and earth
and sea and every water-spring’….” – REVELATION 14:6-7.

faithfulness, and ‘adultery’ or ‘fornication’ for idolatory].

  • 3. 3 “The Tongue”  WORDS TO LIVE BY.  DIVINE REVELATION FOREWORD This book Conceptionof Self Control For Building Your Mind helps the reader to deal with life in a way that is successfuland pleasant to mankind. Do not fizzle out. In order to build courage, a man mustlive by principles that are friendly to nature and have the ability of success and positive thinking. Life is made up of moments; there are happy times and therefore sad times in all our lives. In a time of difficulty, welong to be comforted and only our thoughts can determine how easy it is going to be for us to pass through. There is always a better and improved version of whatever had existed. Meneko Tsefino Charles “Masterpiece”this book “conception” is amust read, it talks about the greatness of God, and how we can improve in our lives by being close to God by self control. There is something aboutthis book that touches every area of life and could be beneficial to those who really want to improvein their attitude in life. The words, idea or behavior of the writer is suitable and appropriatefor a particular situation to find or achieve true happiness. I sobriquetthis book a fountain of knowledgeand wisdom. Read it and identify your potentials and put it to work and it will build you. Prince AyoM. Kaiser.

  • 5. 5 “IkwerreNationalYouths League,” and also, Ogbe-Ijoh, Kantu, Odidi, Okereand Koko Communities, etc. “Proverbs 16:32”(NKJV) He that is slowto anger is better thanthe mighty;and he that rulethhis spirit thanhe that taketha city! INTRODUCTION Having got a set of beautiful attitudes that can lead to business requirements and having assigned a relative priority to each of them, we can begin to look at the characters of great and noble men who have used their attitude to become leaders and to make a difference by being exceptional, stand-out. Conception means the process of forming an idea or a plan. It is an understanding or belief of what something should be. It is also the process of an egg being FERTILIZED inside a woman’s body so that she becomes pregnant; the moment of conception. Idea and plan work together. To set up a business requires plan and idea. You will have to conceptualize that plan so that it may produce maximum results. You don’t have to abscond from the situation or circumstances around you. Build faith in you as you believe in God, you can achieve whatever you want, but you just have to work it out. Man is justified by faith; therefore we can conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law (ROMANS 3:28).
  • 6. 6 For your conception to materialize you must have a belief or trust in someone or something; like the faith or belief among Christians in the Holy Trinity. Faith without works is dead. (JAMES 2:17) Self Control is the ability to remain calm and not show your emotions even though you are feeling angry, excited etc. You have to regain self control rather than lose it to experience and deal with something that is painful, pleasant, or unpleasant especially without complaining. This is the act of enduring. If every human being has self control the world would have been a better place than it is now. We need to show love to one another, because love is the key factor of self control. God is love and this is the greatness of God. “Beloved, let us love one another; for Love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. (1 JOHN 4:7). NOTE: Endeavour To Read and Follow the Holy Bible Scriptures That Appear In Each Paragraph of Every Page of This Book So As To Get a Comprehensive and Meaningful Understanding Of What You Are About To Read. • 7. 7 BIBLICAL QUOTES: The wind bloweth whereit listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canstnot tell whence it cometh and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. - JOHN3:8 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcomewhen thou art judged. - ROMANS 3:4 “Is Hethe God of the Jews only? Is Henot also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:” “Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and the uncircumcision through faith.” “Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: Yea, we establish the law.” - ROMANS 3:29-31 “Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trustto himself that he is Christ’s, let him of himself think again, that, as he is Christ’s, even so are we Christ’s.
  • 8. 8 - 2 CORINTHIANS 10:7 “And unto man He said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart fromevil is understanding.” - JOB28:28 INDICATIVE DIAGNOSIS I am awakened by the supernaturalability that causethe world to be in a magnificent Admire of the beautiful creatures that hallowed each generation to the utmost immortality of God’s presencewhich spreads in awe over the long-stretched ocean, the baffling mountains, and the beautiful skies, which connotes that every time we have interpreted nature to the tail-end of mysterious indefiniteness of amazing conceptuality. Yet, perpetually great goodness adorns all the living creatures in the planets. Specifically, the co-ordinates of the foundation of the ozone layer that holds the earth has never been dug, for while men must burstuntil the dusk of the dawn – they also will return to dust, all, to face the other end of life which is in the Spiritual Planes of never-ending mysteries: unconditionally – The fear of what is in the other end of the ‘After Life’ is not an egocentric amusement of those who flames the victory of heavenly conformity and incorruptibility in spiritual conscience of consciousness. ButIndeed Celestial! Liveliness is much more than a mission of livelihood; but an aphorismof spiritual growth and accumulated prosperity thatincubate the strength of rejoicing: These words always bring aboutinstruments of merriment and sanity to justthis one life that every man has to live. These elixir of exciting epitome, wherejudgmentwas firstadjudgein the Eden; weall did not conformto, but the infallible Sovereign IncarnateDeity made a renewalof life (covenant) by implicating His Son to be the propriety for our sins: until that day when the final judgmentthat is ascertain has
  • 9. 9 come………. “And we all who believe in the Son shall sing mysteriously to the present presenceof the Helper who is the Comforter! “These déjà vu may not be whimsical!” In the practical aspect of spiritual apprehension is an adventure that is above specification. Unique Encrypted Claymore: ***** - MENEKO TSEFINOCHARLES The greatness of God and Self Control Chapter 1 The greatness of God and Self Control The Greatness of God: He who lives for ever created all the universe. The Lord alone will be found righteous. He has given no one the power to proclaim His works, and who can fathom His magnificent deed? Who can assess His magnificent strength, and who can go further and tell of His mercies? Nothing can be added to them, nothing subtracted, it is impossible to fathom the marvels of the Lord. When a man finishes he is only beginning, and when he stops he is as puzzled as ever. Offer God no bribe He will not accept it, do not put your faith in an unvirtuous sacrifice; since the Lord is judge who is no respecter of personages. - (1 PETER 1:17). He shows no respect of personages to the detriment of a poor man, He listens to the plea of the injured party. ‘(PROVERBS 24:23-25)’.
  • 10. 10 He does not ignore the orphan’s supplication, nor the widow’s as she pours out her story. Do the widow’s tears not run down her cheeks, as she cries out against the man who caused them? The man who with his whole heart serves God will be accepted, his petitions will carry to the clouds, until it arrives he is inconsolable, nor will he desist until the Most High takes notice of him, acquits the virtuous and delivers judgment. And the Lord will not be slow, nor will He be dilatory on their behalf, until He has crushed the loins of the merciless and exacted vengeance on the nations, until He has eliminated the hordes of the arrogant and broken scepters of the wicked, until He has repaid each as his deeds deserve and human actions as their intentions merit, until He has judged the case of His people, and made them rejoice in His mercy. (JAMES 5:16). Mercy is welcome in time of trouble, like rain clouds in time of drought. This is the justice of God! God has a deep affection, devotion for us His children. The Bible says in PROVERBS 10:12 “Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins. (KJV). To be a partaker of God’s greatness, we must show love for God and for our fellow men like us. “Jesus said; A man can have no greater love than to lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends, if you do what I command you. I shall not call you servants any more, because a servant does not know his master’s business; I call you friends, because I have made known to you everything I have learnt from my Father.
  • 11. 11 You did not choose me, no, I chose you; and I commissioned you to go out and to bear fruit that will last; and then the Father (God) will give you anything you ask Him in My name. What I command you is to love one another. “(JOHN 15:13-17). So you can see that love is the instrument of God for us to achieve greatness. God wants us to reciprocate our love for Him, and also for one another. This was why Jesus Christ came to die for our sins; LOVE. (JOHN 3:16); “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” ……………………….For God is love. (1 JOHN 4:8). ……………………….“Jesus said unto him, thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. (MATTHEW 22:37-40). The man who fears the Lord will accept His correction; those who eagerly look for Him will win His favour. The man who seeks the law will be nourished by it, (the law of love), the hypocrite will find it a stumbling block. Those who fear the Lord will have justice done them, and make their good deeds shine like a light. (MATTHEW 5:16). The sinner waves reproof aside, he finds excuses to do what he wants.
  • 12. 12 A sensible man never scorns a suggestion; a proud and godless man will be immune to fear. Never act without reflection, and you will have nothing to regret when you have done it. Do not venture on a rough road, for fear of stumbling over the stones. Do not be over confident on an even road, and beware of your own children. Watch yourself in everything you do, this is what keeping the commandments means. The man who trust in the Law of God as written in the Holy Scriptures of “Matthew 22:37-40” pays attention to the commandments, the man who has confidence in the Lord will come to no harm. “If a man fears the Lord, evil will not come his way, again and again he will be rescued in his trials.” The man who hates the law is not wise, if hypocritical in observance, he is like a ship in a storm. “A man of understanding will put his faith in the law, for him the law is as dependable as an oracle.” Prepare what you have to say and you will get a hearing, marshall your informations before you answer. The feelings of a fool are like a cart-wheel, his thought resolves like a turning axle. A rutting stallion is like a sarcastic friend; he neighs, whoever rides him. Self Control Do not follow your lusts, refrain your desires. If you allow yourself to satisfy your desires, this will make you the laughing stock of your enemies. Do not indulge in luxurious living, nor get involved in such society. “Do not beggar yourself by banqueting on credit when there is nothing in your pocket.
  • 13. 13 Behave like that and you will never grow rich; he who despises trifles will sink down little by little.” – (PROVERBS 22:26-29). Wine and women corrupt sensible men, the customer of whores loses all sense of shame. Grubs and worms will have him as their legacy, and the man who knows no shame shall lose his life. (PROVERBS 31:3; 23:26-28). Your adherence must be against loose talk: Being too ready to trust shows shallowness of mind, by committing sin a man does wrong to himself. Taking pleasure in evil earns condemnation, by hating gossip a man avoids evil. Never repeat what you are told and you will come to no harm; whether to friend or foe, do not talk about it, unless it would be sinful not to, do not reveal it; you would be heard out, then mistrusted and in due course you would be hated. Have you heard something? Let it die with you. Courage! It will not burst you! A fool will suffer birth pangs over something told him, like a woman labouring with child. Like an arrow stuck in the flesh of the thigh, such is a piece of news inside of a fool. “Your shadow is a replica of your image (your person himself). Watch your shadow and nurture your image. Mind where you go to, and the things you do, because when you die your soul will take over your shadow. And your shadow will judge you before God.”

Where there is despair . . . hope. Where there is darkness . . . light. Where there is sadness . . . joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much Seek To be consoled . . . as to console, To be understood . . . as to understand, To be loved . . . as to love; For it is in giving . . . that we receive; It is in pardoning . . . that we are pardoned;
  • 15. 15 It is in dying . . . that we are born to eternal life. The happiness of the Sage Chapter 2 The happiness of the Sage: The heart of a sensible man will reflect on parables, an attentive ear is the sage’s dream. Happy the man who has not sinned in speech and who need feel no remorse for sins. Happy the man whose own soul does not accuse him, and who has never given up hope. Happiness is an instruction given to us by God. The only way you can stay happy is just by acquiring wisdom. Cultivate your neighbours as far as you can, and consult with wise men, let all your discussions bear on the law of the Most High. – (PROVERBS 24:6). The Bible tells us in “PHILIPPIANS 4:4-5” that: Rejoice in the Lord Alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.’ The word of God can give you true happiness, if only you trust in God alone. Happy the man who meditates on wisdom, and reasons with good sense, who studies her ways in his heart, and ponders her secrets. He pursue her like a hunter and lies in wait by her path; he peeps in at her windows and listens at her doors; he lodges close to her house, and fixes his

It is time to rejoice; apply the word of God to your life and it will guarantee you wisdom. “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” – (PROVERBS 4:7). Whoever fears the Lord will act like this, and whoever grasps the law will obtain wisdom. She will come to meet him like a mother, and receive him like a virgin bride. She will give him the bread of understanding to eat, and the water of wisdom to drink. He will lean on her and will not fall, he will rely on her and not be put to shame. She will raise him high above his neighbours, and in full assembly she will open his mouth. He will find happiness and a crown of joy, he will inherit an everlasting name. Foolish men will not gain possession of her, nor will sinful men set eyes on her. She stands remote from pride, and liars cannot call her to mind. Praise is unseemly in a sinners mouth, since it has not been put there by the Lord. For praise should only be uttered in Wisdom, and the Lord Himself then prompts it. Sage is resemblance for a very wise person especially because you have a lot of experience.
  • 17. 17 Conception of Securities Chapter 3 Conception Of Securities Talking about securities, there are a lot of definitions for the word “Security”. Conception of securities means a plan or idea of security guaranteed. Security is the activities involved in protecting a country, building or person against attack, danger, etc. Security is the department of a large company or organization that deals with the protection of its building equipments and staff. “Security is the protection against something bad that might happen in the future for example financial or job security.” Security is the state of feeling happy and safe from danger or worry. It also means a valuable item, such as a house, that you agree to give somebody if you are unable to pay back the money that you have borrowed from them for example: home and business being held as security for the loan. Securities in finance are documents proving that somebody is the owner of shares, etc in a particular company. In all, only the Word of God can guarantee you true and effective security.
  • 18. 18 The Word of God is a light full of radiance and vigor to invigorate you, and to build you up and give you understanding about the knowledge of God’s Word. “The word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path: (PSALM 119:105”. The entrance of thy word giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple – PSALM 119:130. You must develop the act or habit of praying. Prayer is the words which you say to God giving thanks or asking for help or prayer is a fixed form of words that you can say when you speak to God. Prayer is the key to success. For you to be successful, you must become prayerful. For effective security you must know the Word of God for yourself and use it. – (2 TIMOTHY 2:15). Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. – (PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7). A good man will go surety for his neighbor; a man has lost all shame if he fails him. Do not forget the favour your guarantor has done for you; He has given His life for you. – (LUKE 24:1-9; JOHN 20:18-31; 3:16-17, 21). A sinner is careless of his guarantor’s prosperity, an ungrateful man forgets the one who saved him. Going surety has ruined many prosperous men and rocked them like a wave of the sea. It has driven powerful men from home to wander among foreign nations.
  • 19. 19 The sinner who involves himself with guarantees, in pursuit of a deal, will find himself involved in lawsuits. Come to your neighbour’s help as far as you can, but take care not to fall into the same plight. Security is Home and hospitality. In God you will find securities and be established. – (ACTS 16:31). The first thing in life is water, and bread and clothing and a house for the sake of privacy. Better a poor man’s life under roof of planks than lavish fare in the house of another. Whether you have little or much, be content with it, and you will not be dubbed an intruder. It is a miserable life, going from house to house; wherever you stay, not daring to open your mouth; you are a stranger, you know the taste of humiliation, not to mention the sound of embittering words. ‘Come along, stranger, lay the table, if you have anything with you, give it to me to eat.’ ‘Go away, Stranger, make room for someone important; my brother is coming to stay I need the house.’ It is hard for a cultured man to hear himself begrudge hospitality and treated like an undischarged debtor. Riches: The sleeplessness brought by wealth makes a man lose weight, the worry it causes drives away sleep. The worries of the daytime interfere with slumber, as a serious illness drives away sleep.
  • 20. 20 The rich man toils, piling up money, and when he leaves off, he stuffs himself with luxuries; the poor man toils, his livelihood dwindling, and when he leaves off, is destitute. The man who loves gold will not be reckoned virtuous, the man who chases after profit will be caught by it. Many have gone to their ruin for the sake of gold, though their destruction stared them in the face; it is a snare for those who sacrifice to it, and every fool will be caught by it. “Happy the rich man who is found to be blameless and does not go chasing after gold.” – (1 TIMOTHY 6:17-19; PROVERBS 10:2; 24:11-14; 30:5-9). Who is he for us to congratulate him, since he has achieved wonders among his kind? Who has been through this test and emerged perfect? He may be proud of that! Who has had the power to sin and has not sinned, to wrong another and not done it? His fortune will be firmly based and the assembly will acclaim his generosity. The fear of God can grant you all level of securities and independence. The man who fears the Lord will accept correction; those who eagerly look for Him will win His favour. Never have a plan or idea without the fear of God. Those who fear the Lord will have justice done them, and make their good deeds shine like a light. (The prime needs of mankind for living are water and fire, iron and salt, wheat-flour, milk and honey, the juice of the grape, oil and clothing). _____________________________________________________________

Conception of Intellectual knowledge Chapter 4 Conception of intellectual knowledge Intellectual knowledge is the knowledge connected with or using a person’s ability to think in a logical way and understand things so as to know. It is of a person well educated and enjoying activities in which you have to think seriously about things. You cannot use intellectual knowledge to ascertain the fear of God. “God is Spirit, and His worshippers must worship in spirit and in truth.” - JOHN 4:24 (NIV). You must worship God in spirit and in truth. If you pray for your spirit to have knowledge and understanding you shall have it. “The life of every brute and plant on earth Is by the quick beams of the sacred fires From its combining potencies drawn forth. • 23. 23 For thee this argument may further prove Your resurrection, if the thought be weighed How human flesh was formed to breathe and move, when the first parents both of them were made. One must hope that each of us might increase our capacity for greater humility, that we might become more mature and hence give more of ourselves, and in a broad sense, love more effectively. These are the virtues that are cardinal in every religion and hence are the centers of interest of the rabbi and the priest and the minister in each of his parishioners. I happen to be one of those physicians who believes that these virtues are the center of our focus. In advocating this necessity to learn to love more effectively, one is mindful of the fact that every religion has taught us that God is love – and that it is from Him that one can gain strength (knowledge) – so well verbalized by the Psalmist: “I lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help.” It is my conviction that this belief can be a bulwark of strength (Spiritual Knowledge) in the life of every one of us. Life as the godless see it: But the godless call with deed and word for Death, counting him friend, they wear themselves out for him, with him they make a pact, and are fit to be his partners. For they say to themselves with their misguided reasoning: ‘Our life is short and dreary, nor is there any relief when man’s end comes, nor is anyone known who can give release from hades. By chance we came to birth, and after this life we shall be as if we had never been. The breath in our nostrils is a puff of smoke, reason a spark from the
  • 24. 24 beating of our hearts; put this out and our body turns to ashes, and the spirit melt away like idle air. In time, our name will be forgotten, nobody will remember what we have done; our life will pass away like wisps of cloud, dissolve like the mist that the sun’s ray drive away and the heat of it overwhelms. Yes, our days are the passing of a shadow, from our death there is no turning back, the seal is set: no one returns. ‘Come then, let us enjoy what good things there are, use this creation with the zest of youth: take our fill of the dearest wines and perfumes, let no one flower of springtime pass us by, before they wither crown ourselves with roses. Let none of us forgo his part in our orgy, let us leave signs of revelry everywhere, this is our portion, this is the lot assigned us. ‘As for the virtuous man who is poor, let us oppress him, let us not spare the widow, nor respect old age, white-haired with many years. Let our strength be the yardstick of virtue, since weakness argues its own futility. Let us lie in wait for the virtuous man, since he annoys us and opposes our way of life, reproaches us for our breaches of the law and accuses us of playing false to our upbringing. He claims to have knowledge of God, and calls himself a son of the Lord. Before us he stands, a reproof to our way of thinking, the very sight of him weighs our spirits down; his way of life is not like other men’s, the path he treads are unfamiliar. In his opinion we are counterfeit; he holds aloof from our doings as though from filth; he proclaims the final end of the virtuous as happy and boasts of having God for his Father.
  • 25. 25 Let us see if what he says is true, let us observe what kind of end he himself will have. If the virtuous man is God’s son, God will take His part and rescue him from the clutches of his enemies. Let us test him with cruelty and with torture, and thus explore the gentleness of his and put his endurance to the proof. Let us condemn him to a shameful death since he will be looked after – we have his word for it. The godless gravely mistaken This is the way they reason, but they are misled, their malice makes them blind. They do not know the hidden things of God, they have no hope that holiness will be rewarded, they can see no reward for the blameless souls. Yet God did make man imperishable, He made him in the image of His own nature; It was the devil’s envy that brought death into the world, as those who are his partners will discover. Curses reaped by the wicked Do not long for a brood of worthless children, and take no pleasure in godless sons. However many you have, take no pleasure in them, unless the fear of the Lord lives among them.
  • 26. 26 Do not count on their having long life, do not put too much faith in their future; for better have one than a thousand, better die childless than have godless ones. Conception of Spiritual Knowledge Chapter 5 Conception of Spiritual Knowledge Spiritual knowledge begins with Wisdom. Spiritual knowledge is connected with the human spirit, rather than the body or physical things. Wisdom is a spirit, a friend of man, though she will not pardon the words of a blasphemer, since God sees into the innermost parts of him, truly observe his heart, and listens to his tongue. The Spirit of the Lord, indeed, fills the whole world, and that which holds all things together knows every word that is said. A Prayer For Wisdom ‘God of our ancestors, Lord of Mercy, who by your word have made all things, and in your wisdom have fitted man to rule the creatures that have come from you, to govern the world in holiness and justice and in honesty of
  • 27. 27 soul to wield authority, grant me wisdom, consort of your throne, and do not reject me from the number of your children……………………………………… (WISDOM 9:1-4) (TJB). Let us take a look of some of our ancestors who had worked in spiritual knowledge because God granted them wisdom: Eulogy of some of the ancestors: Next let us praise illustrious men, our ancestors in their successive generations. The Lord created an abundance of glory and displayed His greatness from earliest times. Some wielded authority as kings and were renowned for their strength; others were intelligent advisers and uttered prophetic oracles. Others directed the people by their advice, by their understanding of the popular mind, and by the wise words of their teaching; others composed musical melodies, and set down ballads; others were rich and powerful, living peacefully in their homes. All these were honoured by their contemporaries, and were the glory of their day. Some of them left a name behind them, so that their praises are still sung. While others have left no memory, and disappeared as though they had never been, and so too, their children after them. But here is a list of generous men whose good works have not been forgotten. In their descendants there remains a rich inheritance born of them. Their descendants stand by the covenants and, thanks to them, so do their children’s children.
  • 28. 28 Their offspring will last forever, their glory will not fade. Their bodies have been buried in peace, and their name lives on for all generations. The peoples will proclaim their wisdom, the assembly will celebrate their praises. Enoch Enoch pleased the Lord and was taken up, an example for the conversion of all generations. (HEBREWS 11:5); (GENESIS 5:24). Noah Noah was found perfectly virtuous, in the time of wrath he became the Scion: because of him a remnant was preserved for the earth at the coming of the flood. [Noah’s ark: the ‘proud giants are the Nephilim of Genesis 6]. Everlasting covenants were made with him that never again should every living creature perish by flood. (GENESIS 6–9; 6:18; 9: 11-12); (2 PETER 2:5). Abraham Abraham, the great forefather of a host of nations, no one was ever his equal in glory. He observed the law of the Most High and entered into a covenant in his own flesh, and proved himself faithful under ordeal. The Lord therefore promised him an oath to bless the nations through his descendants, to multiply him like the dust on the ground, to exalt his descendants like the stars, and give them the land for their inheritance, from sea to sea, from the River to the ends of the earth. (GENESIS 11:31; 15:7-21); (GALATIANS 3:7); (HEBREWS 11:12). Isaac and Jacob
  • 29. 29 To Isaac too, for the sake of Abraham his father, he assured the blessings of all mankind; he caused the covenant to rest on the head of Jacob. He confirmed him in his blessings and gave him the land for his inheritance; He divided it into portions and shared it out among the twelve tribes. (GENESIS 21:1-12; 25:19-27; 37:1-3; 47:28; 49:33); (PSALM 105:8-15; GENESIS 27:27-29;35:9-13; 49:1-33; REVELATION 7:2-8); (EZEKIEL 9:4; 44:5). Moses From him He produced a generous man who found favour in the eyes of all mankind, beloved by God and men, Moses, of blessed memory. He made him the equal of the holy ones in glory and made him strong, to the terror of his enemies. At the word of Moses He made the miracle stop, He raised him high in the respect of kings; He gave him commandments of His people, and showed him something of His glory. For his loyalty and gentleness He sanctified him, choosing him alone out of all mankind; He allowed him to hear His voice, and led him into the darkness; He gave him the commandments face to face, the law of life and knowledge, to teach Jacob His ordinances and Israel His decrees. (DEUTERONOMY 33; also EXODUS 28:30, LEVITICUS 8:8, EXODUS 20:1-21; NUMBERS 12:3-16). Joshua Mighty in war was Joshua son of Nun, successor to Moses in the prophetic office, who well deserved his name (Joshua means ‘Yahweh-saves.’ The Greek form of the same name is Jesus), and was a great savior of the Chosen People, wreaking vengeance on the enemies who opposed him, and so bringing Israel into its inheritance.
  • 30. 30 How splendid he was when he raised his arms to brandish his sword against cities! Who had ever shown such determination as his? He himself waged the wars of the Lord. Was not the sun held back by his hand, and one day drawn out into two? He called on God the Most High, and he pressed the enemy on every side; and the great Lord answered him with hard and violent hailstones. He fell on the enemy nation, and at the Descent he destroyed all resistance; that the nations might acknowledge his war like prowess and know that their foe was the Lord. – (JOSHUA 1-24); (NUMBERS 14:6-9). Caleb For he was a follower of the Mighty One, and in time of Moses he did devoted service, he (Joshua) and Caleb son of Jephunneh, by opposing the whole community, by preventing the people from sinning, and by silencing the mutters of rebellion. Hence these two alone were preserved out of six hundred thousand men on the march, into a land where milk and honey flow. The Lord gave Caleb the Strength – which he retained right into old age – to tread the highlands of the country which his descendants still hold as their inheritance, for all the sons of Israel to see that it is good to follow the Lord. – “(NUMBERS 13:30; 14:6-9); (1CHRONICLES 4:15, 38-41)”. The Judges
  • 31. 31 The judges too, each when he was called, all men whose hearts were never disloyal, who never turned their backs on the Lord – may their memory be blessed! May their bones flower again from the tomb, and may the names of those illustrious men live again in their sons. – (EXODUS 18:13-27; JUDGES 3-21). Samuel Samuel was beloved of his Lord; prophet of the Lord, he instituted the kingdom, and anointed rulers over his people. In the Law of the Lord he judged the assembly, and the Lord watched over Jacob. By his loyalty he was recognized as a prophet, by his words he was known to be a trustworthy seer. He called on the Lord, the Mighty One, when his enemies pressed him on every side, by offering a sucking lamb. And the Lord thundered from heaven, and made His voice heard in a rolling peal; He massacred the leaders of the enemy, and all the rulers of the Philistines. Before the time of his everlasting rest he bore witness before the Lord and His anointed, ‘Of no property, not even a pair of sandals, have I deprived a soul’. Nor did anyone accuse him. And after he fell asleep he prophesied again, warning the king of his death; he lifted up his voice from the earth in prophecy, to blot out the wickedness of the people. – (1 SAMUEL 3:1-21; 10:1-8; 12:1-25; 16:1-13; 25:1). Nathan
  • 32. 32 After him (Samuel) arose Nathan, to prophesy in the time of David. - (2 SAMUEL 7:4-17; 12:1-15). David As the fat is set apart from the communion sacrifice, so David was chosen out of all the sons of Israel. He played with lions as though with kids, and with bears as though with lambs of the flock. While still a boy, did he slay the giant, and relieve the people of their shame, by putting out a hand to sling a stone which brought down the arrogance of Goliath? – (1 SAMUEL 16:12-13; 17:14-50; 17:34-37). For he called on the Lord Most High, who gave strength to his right arm to put mighty warrior to death, and lift up the horn of his people. Hence they gave him credit for ten thousand, and praised him while they blessed the Lord, by offering him a crown of glory; for he massacred enemies on every side, he annihilated his foes the Philistines, and crushed their horn to this very day. (1 SAMUEL 21:9; 18:6,7; 21:11; 17:57-58). In all his activities he gave thanks to the Holy One, the Most High, in words of glory; he put all his heart into his songs out of love for his Maker. – (2 SAMUEL 22; 23:1-7; PSALM 105; 89; 114; 136; 18; 19; 9; 23; 68). He placed harps before the altar to make the singing sweeter with their music; he gave the feasts their splendor, the festivals their solemn pomp, causing the Lord’s Holy name to be praised and the sanctuary to resound from dawn. (2 SAMUEL 6:5; 7:18-29; (PSALM 119:97-104; 122; 27:4).
  • 33. 33 The Lord took away his sins, and exalted his horn for ever; He gave him a royal covenant, and a glorious throne in Israel. - (1 SAMUEL 16:1, 13); (2 SAMUEL 3:9,10; 2:4; 5:1-5; 7:4-17; 12:13; 24:25). Solomon A wise son succeeded him (David), who lived spaciously, thanks to him. Solomon reigned in a time of peace, and God gave him peace all round so that he could raise a house in His name and prepare an everlasting sanctuary. How wise you were in your youth, brimming over with understanding like a river! – (1 KINGS 1:28-40; 3:16-28; 3:1-15; 5-9: 1-9). Your mind ranged the earth, you filled it with mysterious sayings. Your name reached the distant islands, and you were loved for your peace. Your songs, your proverbs, your sayings and your retorts made you the wonder of the world. – ‘(1 KINGS 4:29-34; 5:4,12; 10:23; 10:1-29). In the name of the Lord God, of Him who is called the God of Israel, you amassed gold like so much tin, and made silver as common as lead.’ You abandoned your body to women, you became the slave of your appetites. You stained your honour, you profaned your stock, so bringing wrath on your children and grief on your posterity: the sovereignty was split in two, from Ephraim arose a rebel kingdom. But the Lord would not go back on His mercy, or undo any of His words, He would not obliterate the issue of His elect, nor destroy the stock of the man who loved Him; and so He granted to Jacob and to David a root springing from Him……….. • 34. 34 Rehoboam (The reign of Rehoboam 931-913) Solomon rested with his ancestors, leaving one of his stock as his successor, the stupidest member of the nation, brainless Rehoboam, whose policy drove the nation to rebel. – (2 CHRONICLES 10-12); (1 KINGS 14:21-31). Jeroboam (The reign of Jeroboam 931-910) Next, Jeroboam son of Nebat, who made Israel sin, and set Ephraim on the way of evil; from then on their sin multiplied so excessively as to drive them out of their country; for they tried out every kind of wickedness, until vengeance over took them – (1KINGS 11:26-40; 14:1-20). Elijah Then the prophet Elijah arose like a fire, his word flaring like a torch. It was he who brought famine on them, and who decimated them in his zeal. By the word of the Lord, he shut up the heavens, he also, three times, brought down fire. How glorious you were in your miracles, Elijah! Has anyone reason to boast as you have? – rousing a corpse from death, from Sheol by the word of the Most High; dragging kings down to destruction, and high dignitaries from their beds; hearing reproof on Sinai, and decrees of punishment on Horeb; anointing kings as avengers, and prophets to succeed you; taken up in the whirlwind of fire, in a chariot with fiery horses; designated in the prophecies of doom to allay God’s wrath
  • 35. 35 before the fury breaks, toturnthe heartsof fatherstowardstheirchildren (MALACHI 4:6), and to restore the tribes of Jacob. Happy shall they be who see you, and those who have fallen asleep in love; for we too will have life. – (1 KINGS 17-21; 22:1-54; 2 KINGS 1; 2:1-18). “[‘Sheol is the Hebrew term for Death’, while ‘Hades is the Greek term for Death’]”. Elisha Elijah was shrouded in the whirlwind, and Elisha was filled with his spirit; throughout his life no ruler could shake him, and no one could subdue him. No task was too hard for him, and even in death his body prophesied. In his lifetime he performed wonders, and in death his works were marvelous. – (2 KINGS 2:19-25; 3-12; 13:1-21). Zerubbabel and Joshua How shall we extol Zerubbabel? He was like a signet ring on the right hand, so too was Jeshua son of Jozadak; they who in their days built the Temple, and raised to the Lord a holy people, destined to everlasting glory. – (EZRA 5:2). Nehemiah Great too is the memory of Nehemiah, who rebuilt our walls which lay in ruins, erected the gates and bars and rebuilt our houses. – (NEHEMIAH 1:1- 11; 6:15).
  • 36. 36 Retrospect No one else has ever been created on earth to equal Enoch, for he was taken up from earth. And no one else ever born like Joseph, the leader of his brothers, the prop of his people; his bones were honoured. Shem and Seth were honoured among men, but above every living creature is Adam. The Lord Jesus Christ not only son also Lord of David: Later, while teaching in the Temple, Jesus said, ‘How can the scribes maintain that the Christ is the son of David? David himself, moved by the Holy Spirit, said: The Lord said unto my Lord: Sit at my right hand And I will put your enemies Under your feet.
  • 37. 37 David himself calls Him Lord, in what way then can He be his son? And the great majority of the people heard this with delight. MARK 12:35-37. I Jesus sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. – (REVELATION 22:16). Exhortation: And now bless the God of all things, the doer of great deeds everywhere, who has exalted our days from the womb and acted towards us in His mercy. May He grant us cheerful hearts and bring peace in our time, in Israel for ages on ages. May His mercy be faithfully with us, may he redeem us in our time. Conclusion “…………Happy is he who busies himself with these things, and grows wise by taking them to heart. If he practices them he will be strong enough for anything, since the light of the Lord is his path. (Do your work before the appointed time and He in His time will give you your reward.’).
  • 38. 38 “The Tongue” Chapter 6 “The Tongue” A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. – PROVERBS 18:20-21. The tongue is the soft part in the mouth that moves around, used for tasting, swallowing or speaking etc.
  • 39. 39 You must learn to control your tongue. Speak positively: but know when to speak and when not to, and you will be respected by those you are following or leading. Avoid inappropriate talk! Better a slip on the pavement than a slip of the tongue; this is how ruin takes the wicked by surprise. A coarse-grained man is like an indiscreet story endlessly retold by the ignorant. Lying is an ugly blot on a man, and ever on the lips of the ignorant. A thief is preferable to an inveterate liar, but both are heading for ruin. Lying is an abominable habit, so that disgrace is the liar’s for ever. A kindly turn of speech multiplies a man’s friends, and a courteous way of speaking invites many a friendly reply. Let your acquaintances be many, but your advisers one in a thousand. Practice the art of giving: My son, do not temper your favours with disparagement, nor any of your gifts with words that hurt. Does not dew relieve the heat? In the same way a word is better than a good present, but a generous man is ready with both. A fool will offer nothing but insult, and a grudging man’s gift makes the eyes smart. Why surely, a word is worth more than a gift. SILENCE AND SPEECH
  • 40. 40 There is the rebuke that is untimely, and there is the man who keeps quiet, and he is the shrewd one. But how much better to rebuke than to fume! The man who acknowledges a fault wards off punishment. ‘Like a eunuch longing to take a girls virginity so is he who uses force to argue cases’: “(Eunuchs were bastards; ‘actually eunuchs were those who had no sexual organs or whose sexual organs had been removed. They were called bastards in other for them not to be too ridiculed), and they were excluded from the community of Israel and from the blessings promised to the Chosen People - ‘DEUTERONOMY 23:2’)” There is the man who keeps quiet and is considered wise, another incurs hatred for talking too much. There is the man who keeps quiet, not knowing how to answer, another keeps quiet, because he knows when to speak. A wise man will keep quiet till the right moment, but a garrulous fool will always misjudge it. The man who talks too much will get himself disliked, and the self-appointed oracle will make himself hated. A wise man advances himself by his words, a shrewd man will please princes. He who tills the soil will have a full harvest, he who pleases princes will secure pardon for his offences. There is a manner of talking that is fraught with death; let it not be found in the inheritance of Jacob, for devout men will keep all that far from them, they will not wallow in sin. Do not habituate your mouth to coarseness and foul language, for this means sinful talk. Remember your father and mother when you are sitting among princes, in case you forget yourself in their presence and behave like a fool, and then wish you had not been born, and curse the day of your birth.
  • 41. 41 A man in the habit of using improper words will never break himself of it however long he lives. Avoid quarrelling and you will sin less; for a hot tempered man provokes quarrels, a sinner sows trouble between friends, introducing discord among men at peace. The way a fire burns depends on its fuel, a quarrel spreads in proportion to its violence; a man’s rage depends on his strength, his fury grows fiercer in proportion to his wealth. A sudden quarrel kindles fire, a hasty dispute leads to bloodshed. Blow on a spark and up it flares, spit on it and out it goes; both are the effects of your mouth. In a shaken sieve the rubbish is left behind, so too the defects of a man appear in his talk. The kiln tests the work of the potter, the test of a man is in his conversation. The orchard where the tree grows is judged on the quality of its fruit, similarly a man’s words betray what he feels. Do not praise a man before he has spoken, since this is the test of men. – (PROVERBS 27:2). The Tongue A curse on the scandal-monger and the deceitful, he has ruined many who lived in concord. That third tongue has shaken many, and driven them from nation to nation; it has pulled down fortified cities, and overturned the houses of princes. The third tongue has driven virtuous wives out of house and home, and deprived them of the due reward for their hard work. Anyone who listens to it will never know peace of mind, will never live in peace again. A stroke of the whip raises a weal, but a stroke of the tongue
  • 42. 42 breaks bones. Many have fallen by the edge of the sword, but many more have fallen by the tongue. Happy the man who has been sheltered from it, and has not experienced its fury, who has not dragged its yoke about, or been bound in its chains; the death it inflicts is a miserable death, Sheol is preferable to it. It cannot gain a hold over the devout, they are not burnt by its flames. Those who desert the Lord will fall into it, it will flare up inextinguishably among them, it will be let loose against them like a lion, it will tear them like a leopard. Look, fence your property round with a quick thorn hedge, lock away your silver and gold; Then make scales and weights for your words; and put a door with bolt across your mouth. Take care you take no false step through it, in case you fall a prey to him who lies in wait. [PROVERBS 25:11]. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear; because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. (1 JOHN 4:18). The mind and the tongue agree in one thing. For out of the abundance of the mind, the mouth speaketh. The mind is the ABILITY TO THINK. It is the part of a person that makes them able to be aware of things, to think and feel. The mind is the particular way that somebody thinks: it is your intelligence. If you control your tongue then you control your mind. One of the best way to control your tongue is by talking less.
  • 43. 43 If you can conquer your mind, then you dictate what happens to you next! We are One hundred percent of what we think. PROVERBS 7:4 “Say unto Wisdom thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman.” Words to Live By The spectrum of love has nine ingredients: Patience: “Love suffereth long.” Kindness: “And is kind.” Generosity: “Love envieth not.” Humility: “Love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up.” Courtesy: “Doth not behave itself unseemly.” Unselfishness: “Seeketh not her own.” Good Temper: “Is not easily provoked.” Guilelessness: “Thinketh no evil.” Sincerity: “Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth.”
  • 44. 44 Patience; kindness; generosity; humility; courtesy; unselfishness; good temper; guilelessness; sincerity – these make up the supreme gift, the stature of the perfect man. You will observe that all are in relation to men, in relation to life, in relation to the known today and the near tomorrow, and not to the unknown eternity. We hear much of love of man. We make a great deal of peace with Heaven; Christ made much of peace on earth. Religion is not a strange or added thing, but the inspiration of the secular life, the breathing of an eternal spirit through the temporal world. The supreme thing, in short, is not a thing at all, but the giving of a further finish to the multitudinous words and acts which make up the sum of every common day. DIVINE REVELATION When God created man according to the Holy Bible book of GENESIS 1:26-27; 2:18-25; ‘And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth.’ ‘So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created he him: male and female created he them. After God created man and saw that man (Adam) was alone, He agreed with the priest of the Most High God “Melchizedek” who is in the order of Jesus Christ” and the Holy Spirit and the angels in heaven that a help mate should be created for man. God and all the host of angels in heaven decided to create a woman, then the Devil came in the midst of them, and said unto God, the creator of the universe; that you made male man (Adam) a little lower than the angels…..
  • 45. 45 ‘Are you going to make woman (female man), higher than O’ Lucifer? Make woman (female man) to be a little lower than man (Adam), so that I can use the woman to persecute the man, because you promised me the whole earth – so that I may rule it with my cohorts; and that you may devour sinners: those who will fall into temptation, and those who commit evil acts and atrocities, and those whose hearts are far away from You holy God. The Almighty God was vexed, because when He made man (Adam) there was no guile in him; so He (God) couldn’t breathe into the woman’s nostril because of the Devil’s request. For God is stirred up by His righteousness, holiness and goodness. And God allowed the Devil’s request to come to pass to enable Him test the faith of Adam. The Almighty God caused man (Adam) into a deep sleep that was after he had breathed life into man, and man became a living soul; and God took one of his (Adam’s) ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made He a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. (But Adam never knew that God granted the Devil’s request to use Eve to persecute him: until after she had ate the forbidden fruit and given it to him (Adam) who also ate from the fruit; For the LORD God wanted to test the faith of man (Adam) over Satan, but man fell.
  • 46. 46 Perhaps, God breathed life into the nostril of man which He made from dust, but a woman was given life by the rib that God collected from man, though she was also made from dust. So the man became the head of the woman. ‘From dust we came, and to dust shall we all also return’: “(To enhance your scope about this revelation read these scriptures below: GENESIS 1:26-27; 2:18-25; 3:19-20; ISAIAH 14; REVELATION 12; ECCLESIATES 1:4; HEBREWS 7:1-28; 1 CORINTHIANS 11:3). “What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet……..” - (PSALM 8:4-6) ‘This is why the saints must have constancy and faith:’ All the riches of this world belong to us men. Through redemption by Jesus Christ, Christians are to be the most successful, the richest and the most prosperous of all people (Deuteronomy 28:1-15), because we have been restored to Eden. What Build Holiness is Love in God’s Word! Thirst For Righteousness! Have Faith in God and Build! WHAT IS A REVELATION? “A ‘REVELATION” (CALLED APOCALYPSE, FROM THE GREEK TERM) IS A DISTINCT LITERARY FORM; APOCALPYTIC WRITING WAS VERY POPULAR IN SOME JEWISH CIRCLES AT THE BEGINNING OF THE ‘CHRISTIAN’ ERA.” THE FRAMEWORK OF A ‘REVELATION IS ALWAYS A VISION OF HIDDEN SUPERNATURAL EVENTS; THE LANGUAGE IN WHICH THE VISION IS DESCRIBED IS RICHLY SYMBOLIC AND SO ALLUSIVE THAT THE MESSAGE CAN BE INTERPRETED IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE. ‘THUS THE “BOOK OF REVELATION” IS NOT TO BE ACCEPTED SIMPLY AS AN ALLEGORY WHICH CAN BE DIRECTLY TRANSLATED INTO OTHER TERMS…..’ Then I saw another angel, flying high overhead, sent to announce the Good News of eternity to all who live on the earth, every nation, race, language and tribe.’ “He was calling, ‘Fear God and praise Him, because the time has come for Him to sit in judgment; worship the maker of heaven and earth and sea and every water-spring’….” – REVELATION 14:6-7.
