1. In justification, the sinner stands before God guilty and condemned, but is
declared righteous.
2. In redemption, the sinner stands before God as a slave, but is granted freedom.
3. In imputation, a man’s sinful record is transferred to Jesus Christ, and
Christ’s perfect righteousness is transferred to him!
4. In forgiveness, the sinner stands before God as a debtor, but the debt is paid in
full and forgotten.
5. In adoption, the sinner stands before God as a stranger, but is made a son.
6. In reconciliation, the sinner stands before God as an enemy, but becomes his
friend.

Innocent blood had to be shed to satisfy
God’s just demand for judgment on sin.
Rom 3:24 being justified freely by His
grace through the redemption that is in
Christ Jesus,
Rom 3:25 whom God set forth as a
propitiation by His blood, through faith, to
demonstrate His righteousness…
In verse 25, Paul uses an interesting term:
propitiation.The Greek word here
rendered “propitiation” is the same one
translated “mercy-seat” in Hebrews
9:5,“and above it were the cherubim of
glory overshadowing the mercy seat…”

“And Moses said to Aaron, "Take a pot and put an
omer of manna in it, and lay it up before the
LORD, to be kept for your generations. As the
LORD commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up
before the Testimony, to be kept.”
•Aaron’s Rod that Budded - Num 17:10
And the LORD said to Moses, "Bring Aaron's rod
back before the Testimony, to be kept as a sign
against the rebels, that you may put their
complaints away from Me, lest they die."
The Tablets of the Covenant - Deu 10:2
'And I will write on the tablets the words that
were on the first tablets, which you broke; and

Because of Jesus’ death and resurrection, the
curse on this planet will eventually be removed
when Christ returns to set up His kingdom
(Isaiah 11:6-9; 24:23; 30:26; 60:19-20).
Romans 8:21 Because the
creation itself also shall be
delivered from the bondage of
corruption into the glorious
liberty of the children of God.
Colossians 1:20 And, having
made peace through the blood of
His cross, by Him to reconcile all
things unto Himself; by Him, I
say, whether they be things in
earth, or things in heaven.
