media users had increased by 8.1 percent
compared to the previous year.
In 2025, growth is estimated to slow down
by a total of 3.3 percent, but as of today
there are approximately 3.4 billion social
media users amongst the world.

promote their business.
As we can learned from the past history of
marketing, the market is always changing as time
moves on and the current trends fade away.

• According to the IMD Business School, there are at least seven upcoming
trends that will have an impact of the future of marketing.
1. The increase of complexity in consumer purchasing decisions.
2. Personalization in product design.
3. Mobile communication are becoming the center piece of marketing.
4. Transparency will dictate brand-customer relationships.
5. Personalized data-driven market will become more friendly.
