4. ABOUT THE IMAGES:
I took my own photos for the preliminary so I could grasp an understanding of camera
angles and how I presented my model for the magazine. My magazine is a school
magazine so I added the prop of a tie to link it with school and give the idea of the model
being a rebellious icon which will intrigue students about what the magazine is about and
encourage them to purchase it. My image with the prop of a guitar is for my contents page
as I wanted to link the idea of having a school band as it gives another insight to the
activities available at school. By setting up this image, I can learn if using an instrument for
my final magazine will be an effective method or if the image will look fake and unrealistic. I
feel that my images came out well for my preliminary task and I now have a brief
introduction in setting up a magazine I have more knowledge and confidence in using
different cameras and using Photoshop.
5. EXTRA
IMAGES
I’ve decided not to use these two images as I
feel having too many images will make the
contents page feel crowded and I prefer my
other two images as I feel they will work better
with the layout of my contents page.
