2. INTRODUCTION
❖ Some suppliers can sometimes offer you to store and sell products without having to
buy those items: this technique is called consignee stock.
❖ Consignee stock is a great way for manufacturers and suppliers to launch new
products.
❖ As resellers may be reluctant to buy a product that they are not sure to be able to
sell, consignee stock will allow them to propose an item to check its market without
having to pay for it in the first place.

3. ❖ To assign an owner at first you have to make sure that Consignment option is activated,
to activate it go to Invoice > Configuration > Settings.

4. ❖ In here, search for Consignment and enable it.

5. ❖ Now goto Purchase and create a purchase order and confirm it.

6. ❖ Here while receiving the product you will see an option to Assign Owner. Now validate it.

7. ❖ Now we the respective product will be in the name of the owner, and transactions of this
product will not impact our inventory valuation. If we go to Inventory > Reporting > Inventory
Report.

8. ❖ Search for the specific product here you will be able to see the Owner of the product.
