where you are responsible for everything - hardware, software, network, security, updates, and maintenance.
• Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS): This is like buying a pizza base (or dough) from a store. You don't have to prepare the
dough yourself, but you still need to add toppings and bake it at home. Similarly, with IaaS, the cloud provider takes
care of the underlying infrastructure (servers, storage, network), but you still manage the operating system, middleware,
runtime, data, and application.
• Platform as a Service (PaaS): This is like ordering a partially-prepared pizza from a store, where the dough is ready and
toppings are already added, you just have to bake it at home. In PaaS, the cloud provider manages the infrastructure
and runtime environment, you just need to focus on your application and data.
• Software as a Service (SaaS): This is like ordering a fully cooked pizza from a restaurant. You don't need to prepare or
cook anything, just enjoy the pizza. Similarly, with SaaS, the provider takes care of everything - infrastructure, application
software, and data, you just use the software via the internet.
