Capita Education Resourcing delivers high impact, innovative
training programmes which are transforming the way CPD
is received by teams and individuals. We can help improve
the performance of your academies/schools, by developing
the capacity of your staff to enable them and their students
to reach their full potential. We offer an innovative service
by designing bespoke training packages of training for your
academies/ schools, from single inset days to your entire years
CPD provision. We can provide creative, cost effective solutions
which support your ongoing staff development. Importantly
all training is delivered by current practitioners to deliver the
bespoke training which will have impact where it counts.
Pre Ofsted Checks
We can provide an academy/school with a review by location or
individual department. We guide academies/schools through the
following steps:
•	 A review of the recommendations from the previous
inspection report
•	 A review of LA and SIP monitoring reports
•	 An analysis of the current SEF and the academies’/schools’
status in relation to the improvement plan
•	 An analysis of performance data
Based on our findings we then carry out mock inspections on the
academy/school and provide detailed feedback. We also provide
training and in lesson observation and feedback skills.
Income Maximisation & Generation
Pupil Premium Audits
This service looks at the provision in your academy/school
and evaluates its effectiveness in terms of impact for the Pupil
Premium students. The report is not driven by Ofsted but is
mindful of Ofsted recommendations. Ofsted states that its
inspectors will be looking at how academies/schools are using the
Pupil Premium funding to help disadvantaged pupils and narrow
the gap between the performances of different groups of pupils.
Funding Stream Initiatives
Capita Education Resourcing has advisors and consultants who
can help you explore which income streams are suitable for
your academy/school, work out your funding needs and how
to start on your sustainable funding strategy. This can include
identifying untapped funding streams and the correct allocation
of Pupil Premium Budgets. We have tools and resources to help
you enhance existing funding and develop new funding streams.
Within this service we can also look at developing models
of revenue generation depending on the skill set within the
academy/school community.
Value for Money
Level 1 Online Safeguarding Course
Safeguarding Training is an important part of Child Protection and
is also an Ofsted requirement for all academy/school staff. The
Capita interactive online safeguarding course gives an engaging
and valuable introduction to providing protection to the children
in a academy/school setting.
The objectives of the online safeguarding course is to enable all
people working with children to:
•	 Understand the concepts of safeguarding and child protection
•	 Recognise the signs & symptoms of abuse
•	 Have the ability to appropriately record any concerns
•	 Feel confident in making referrals to the appropriate agencies
•	 To give a standardised awareness of competencies required to
promote excellence in safeguarding.
•	 Safeguarding children is an important part of academy/schools
life and with the Ofsted requirements for safeguarding training;
all academies/schools will need to be able to provide evidence
of this training.

Careers Advisory
Capita Education Resourcing’s Careers Advisory Service offers a
fresh approach to employability, careers education, information,
advice and guidance. Our Level 7 IAG practitioners bring
together for academies/schools, a blend of career services which
complement the curriculum provision and increase positive
destinations of learners. The service offers links between industry,
employability and education creating opportunities backed by
progression routes into career sectors. We work with partners to
assist in improving aspirations and achievement of all students,
ensuring that positive outcomes are achieved. These programmes
include:

•	 Work Placements for Students
•	 Targeted Group Work for Students at risk of becoming NEET
Educational Psychologists
Our team of partners provide bespoke generic and specialist SEN/
Inclusion support to meet the needs of your vulnerable learners.
We build capacity amongst your staff and enable strategic school
development. We can provide experts who can assess funding
criteria for academies/schools with regard to the needs of the
pupils and assist in ensuring allocation of the correct resource.

We can help improve the performance of your academies/schools, by developing the capacity of your staff to enable them and their students to reach their full potential. We offer an innovative service by designing bespoke training packages of training for your academies/ schools, from single inset days to your entire years CPD provision. We can provide creative, cost effective solutions which support your ongoing staff development. Importantly all training is delivered by current practitioners to deliver the bespoke training which will have impact where it counts. Pre Ofsted Checks We can provide an academy/school with a review by location or individual department. We guide academies/schools through the following steps: • A review of the recommendations from the previous inspection report • A review of LA and SIP monitoring reports • An analysis of the current SEF and the academies’/schools’ status in relation to the improvement plan • An analysis of performance data Based on our findings we then carry out mock inspections on the academy/school and provide detailed feedback. We also provide training and in lesson observation and feedback skills.

Income Maximisation & Generation Pupil Premium Audits This service looks at the provision in your academy/school and evaluates its effectiveness in terms of impact for the Pupil Premium students. The report is not driven by Ofsted but is mindful of Ofsted recommendations. Ofsted states that its inspectors will be looking at how academies/schools are using the Pupil Premium funding to help disadvantaged pupils and narrow the gap between the performances of different groups of pupils. Funding Stream Initiatives Capita Education Resourcing has advisors and consultants who can help you explore which income streams are suitable for your academy/school, work out your funding needs and how to start on your sustainable funding strategy. This can include identifying untapped funding streams and the correct allocation of Pupil Premium Budgets. We have tools and resources to help you enhance existing funding and develop new funding streams. Within this service we can also look at developing models of revenue generation depending on the skill set within the academy/school community. Value for Money Level 1 Online Safeguarding Course Safeguarding Training is an important part of Child Protection and is also an Ofsted requirement for all academy/school staff. The Capita interactive online safeguarding course gives an engaging and valuable introduction to providing protection to the children in a academy/school setting. The objectives of the online safeguarding course is to enable all people working with children to: • Understand the concepts of safeguarding and child protection • Recognise the signs & symptoms of abuse • Have the ability to appropriately record any concerns • Feel confident in making referrals to the appropriate agencies • To give a standardised awareness of competencies required to promote excellence in safeguarding. • Safeguarding children is an important part of academy/schools life and with the Ofsted requirements for safeguarding training; all academies/schools will need to be able to provide evidence of this training.
