DRILLING

Caring Circuit has 10 Excellon five spindle
air bearing drilling and routing machines
and 6 Excellon Century 2001 six-spindle
drilling machines. These machines use
state-of-the-art technology to automatically
measure drill bit length, diameter, and
spindle runout each time a tool is changed.
Furthermore, these machines have
continual broken drill bit detection systems
during the via formation process.

PLATING

Caring Circuit has built two custom plating
lines that incorporate all specifications
which minimize plating thickness variation.
These include plating at 17 A.S.F.,
submerged anodes and cathodes, singledeep panel racks, and dual rectification.

FILM & IMAGE DEPARTMENT

Our film and imaging department is housed in a
temperature and humidity controlled Class 10,000
clean room. Caring Circuit has implemented the
MultiLine tooling system, which uses computeraided punching systems to insure near-perfect
front-to-back registration.Our LPI soldermask and
LPI legend imaging area is also housed in a
temperature and humidity
controlled area in order to hold .002” tolerances
needed for today’s technology.

A.O.I. - AUTOMATED OPTICAL
INSPECTION SYSTEM

All inner layers with circuits are verified to meet our
customer requirements using an automated optical
inspection system that compares the physical
inspection product with the customer-supplied
gerber files.This guarantees the high reliability of
Multi PCB multilayer circuit boards. Your advantage
with Caring Circuit is that A.O.I. is always
included for multilayer boards! On request, 1 and 2
layer circuit boards can also be tested with A.O.I.
The A.O.I. test verifies the finished conductor trace image for deviations from the Gerber data and
finds errors that the E-Test may not discover, such as (for example) narrowed, but still unbroken
conductor traces.
The A.O.I. test is especially important for the following application areas:
High frequency
High power loads
High data transmission rates
Op-amps with high amplification factors and input resistances

FLYING PROBE (FIXTURELESS)
ELECTRICAL TESTING

For quick turns and short runs, we offer
fixtureless testing with our six flying probe
testers. Since no fixture is necessary,
testing for low volumes is made fixture is
necessary, testing for low volumes is made
possible at substantially lower costs.

Flying probe test is a new solution for PCB circuit testing, and the flying probe test machine
is a system that tests the PCB board in a manufacturing environment. Flying probe test is
very flexible, and its 4 to 32 independent controlled probes will move to the element under
testing limberly. The unit under test will be passed to the testing machine by strap or other
transmission system, and then fixed. The testing machine’s probes will test each element in
UUT (unit under test) through the contact with the test pad and via. When one element is
under testing, the other elements will be masked off to get rid of the readings interference.

E-TEST FIXTURE
ELECTRICAL TESTING

Every circuit board built by Caring Circuit is
electrically tested100% using a net list. All
test fixtures are designed and assembled inhouse using specialized equipment. Having
these processes in-house reduces our
customers’ costs for fixtures by up to 60%.
