Instructions on how to set up a blog

1. Creating a blog
Access to the blogsite from either
Tab at the top of school intranet homepage (currently
showing Moodle) labelled Media Blogs
http://websites.netherthall.org
Create an account
username – use your school username
password – you choose
email – must be your school email address
make sure you tick the “create blog” box
This will generate an email, and you need to follow the link
from this email to activate your account.
You can then access the site and allocate yourself to a
teaching group.
Before you can activate your personal blog, the
administrators will need to authorise your blog – this takes a
few seconds.
Any problems see Mr Day in the first instance or Mr
Hathaway in ICT support.
Please note, once we are certain that everything is working
well, the media blogs can accessed
viawww.netherhallmedia.com which will in the meantime be
linked to the old media blogs.
