• In the 21st Century, the Official Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sabadell would like to
be regarded as an entity which is able of successfully face up all the challenges that may
arise in the new century.
• The incorporation of new technologies, the new Euro zone, the opening up of new markets
together with the concern for providing quality services that cover the needs of the
companies based in our area, are some of the challenges that we shall have to face in order
to achieve the best support in terms of business management.
• The implantation of a modern Chamber of Commerce that leads the way in representing and
defending general interests in front of the Public Administration authorities, that promotes
the internationalisation of our companies, that collaborates in corporate training, counselling
and promoting economic development. We achieve our goal thanks to a professional team of

CONCEPT
• In accordance with the Basic Law 4/2014 dated 1st April, the Chamber of Commerce
of Sabadell is a public corporation that represents the general interests of
commerce, industry and services, within the Vallès area where it is responsible for
exercising consultative and promotional functions, which are greatly consolidated by
Law 14/2002 (the Official Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Navigation Law of
Catalonia).
• The Chamber is a legal body which is competent to act for the purpose of achieving
its aims and exercising the functions that have been attributed to it by the Law.
OBJECTIVES
• All the activities performed by the Chamber of Commerce are performed with the
objective of contributing to the economic development of our area and the
development significant growth of the companies based in its hinterland, channelling
all industrial and commercial concerns and promoting the general interests of these
companies.
