14. Future Directions
Women’s Health:
This internship only expanded my interest in working in
women’s health. The feeling you get when a woman
has a positive pregnancy test when she has been
trying for 5 years is a blessing like no other!
15. Research
Although I indirectly helped women in a huge way by
conducting research, I do not think this is a part of the
medical field I will find myself in the future. I prefer the
clinical side of medicine and to be more hands on.
16. I wanted to express a thank you to Dr. Lessey and
everyone at the Fertility Center of the Carolinas.
You were so welcoming and eager to teach every
day. This internship and the lessons I learned will
only further help me in my future advancement as a
medical professional!
