• Responsible for all results pertaining to the performance of Broadcom’s Accounts Receivable portfolio of 450+
customers with an average global balance of $1 billion. 90% of the portfolio is comprised of international
accounts.
• Collaborate closely with Executive Management in Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Legal, Internal Audit,
Shipping, and the Controllers of the various business units comprised of multiple lines of business.
• In 2014 successfully transferred the management of over $900M in AR from Singapore to Ireland which included
hiring and training a new Credit team in Dublin while reducing resources in Singapore.
• Forecast and monitor monthly incoming customer cash flow.
• Lead a team of six credit and collection associates located in the US, Singapore, and Ireland. The team uses
financial analysis to regularly analyze the creditworthiness of accounts and coordinates the resolution of all
payment disputes.
• Oversee all internal and external audit requests for the Credit department.
• Review the T&C’s of customer contracts and applications to insure certain conditions related to customer
payments remain favorable to Broadcom.
• Calculate the necessary adjustments to the bad debt reserve and direct the Accounting team to make process
the associated journal entries. Bad debt write-offs average less than 0.00005% of annual sales.
• Coordinated the transfer of credit and AR data for our SAP implementation from Peoplesoft.
• Travel to customer sites across the world to meet with officers and to other management personnel in an effort
to build relationships and review customer financial results to confirm their creditworthiness.
• Travel to Singapore and Dublin on a quarterly basis to meet with my staff as well as management in Sales
Operations to look for ways to review root causes of customer disputes.
• Quarterly net DSO during my tenure has averaged 37 days with a weighted average payment term of 38 days.

• Implemented new solutions stemming from process analysis of cash application, collections, credit extension,
dispute resolution, and account creation.
• Projects included outsourcing cash applications to the bank, the creation of a chargeback system in Oracle,
training associates on how to analyze financial statements, implementing collection strategies which
subsequently increased monthly cash-flow by 30%, expediting the credit application review process from three
weeks to two days, and working with 3rd
party collection agencies.
